The problem is Europe, in NA and Japan the numbers are fine, but Europe performance is very low. Any idea what could be the problem in that territory? The lack of FIFA 14 or PES 2014 is sure hurting the console, but that much?

You'd be surprised, those games are massive releases in Europe. The primary reason is marketing IMO. The level of advertisements compared to Xbox and Sony is a joke....

Around the Network

it has alot to compete against though

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Dude, you know this continuing debate of yours is getting extremely annoying? In every thread that somehow mentions the words 'console', 'handheld' and 'sales' this is the only thing you have to say.

Handhelds play games, ergo that can be compared to home-consoles if someone wants to. They can also be compared as a seperate group if one wants to.

The end.

I will continue to do so every time I see some kid try an compare the two. They've never competed for sales and have never been in the same market (even the website we are having this argument on, seperates them via bar graphs lol) and to do so is ignorant beyond comprehension. If handhelds and consoles are the same market, then motorcycles and cars are in the same market.

Hint? They're not.

They are both vehicles for personal transportation are they not?

Yes, they are. But one costs around 3-5,000 and the other costs around 20-60,000 and are marketed toward different demographs and do not directly compete for sales. Sounds kinda fimilar, doesn't it?

Think about it, its not technically suprising, i'm not saying Wii U sales are low, its actually good
but the thing is, the PS4 and Xbox One have been around for only a month and 3 weeks, it only takes 3 months for a console to still sell well. in the 4th month, things will start to decline,
Xbox 360, PS3, 3DS, Wii U had the exact same experience, it will most likely happen with the PS4 and Xbox One
