Forums - Gaming - RG3 buys his offensive line Xbox One's per Adam Schefter

I was actually being sarcastic. Yes the Xbox One is the official console of the NFL but players don't have to buy it. Now can they show up at an official function with a PS4 or Sony Playstation gear on? Of course not, but that's a separate issue entirely. Apparently after 2 decades on the internet, I've yet to master post sarcasm.

No, they don't have to buy it. Nor are they completely banned from buying PS4s. I'm just saying that a public move, like buying a console for the team, and then having reports on it is probably against the rules if that console is a PS4. If I was a player, I could go to Walmart and get a PS4. I couldn't go to Walmart with press and stuff and say that I'm getting PS4s for the team

The replies on that twitter feed are hilarious...

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

I think the important part of this post is to see how much up their ass are some of the Sony fans. They turned that tweet into a what console is better/selling best geekfest.
