I'm not bored I love DW always have, I just find it a little funny that you slap a new coat of paint on a game and suddenly everyone is hyped. Too me it just proves Nintendo fans will get hyped about anything that contains a Nintendo character.Here I am been playing DW since 2003 always hyping it only to get no love.

I think the game looks good. Never played a title in the series, but the hack and slash gameplay looks fun to me. Will probably get it. Like the environments too.

2 things.

1. This could help bring new gamers to that hack and slash genre by introducing one of the most beloved characters. I personally played this type of game before (one piece pirate warrior ps3) and back than i played it for One Piece cuz its my favorite Manga. Personally its cool but can be kind of a drag later on. But Link will be in this and im in for another hack+slash (i need to play the 2nd One Piece game as well!!!)

2. Why does this bother people so much? Nintendo has done this before with many of its franchises. (Dr. Mario/Pokemon Conquest/Super MarioRPG). Its also like Halo Wars, its a command and conquer in Halo paint but with halo fans feeling comfortable joining in a new type of game with their familiar set of characters (in this case weapons/vehicles) its easy to set the jump.

PSASBR did the same thing, there were people who nevered played SSB but then PSASBR came out and fans of sony went crazy. Why? Cuz its characters they love/care for and want to play them in another type of game!!!

It doesn't really bother me, I just find it silly and kinda paints a clearer picture on how I view certain users now. I hope Koei makes lots of money from it cause they're my favourite company.

This is different though, it's not a game franchise that everyone loved, its the other way round. Poeple hate DW its a game that is only made to please the fans. It's a game that has countless articles asking it to end, I know because I'm always the guy in the corner who is defending the game.

I'm just seeing alot of double standards.

I've never played Dynasty Warriors, so if at any time I feel compelled to play Hyrule Warriors, I'll be sure to try a regular DW game first to see whether it's my kind of game. Not sure what to expect: some of my friends enjoy them, others think they're garbage. The general opinion seems to be that they're not technically very good, but can be a lot of fun for some people.

I expect this to be the kind of game I may pick up used for a really low price at the end of the generation, just like Link's Crossbow Training. I still haven't played that...

Dynasty warriors is not on a decline because people are not interested in it though but because their are to many warrior games now:

I am very intersted in this game but it depends how they treat the game, how many characters? Will be their specific missions? Bonus funny stages?  If it is only Link it would be kind of boring...I guess his horse will be their aswell..

Possible but not sure if it was warriors kind of game and if it has a release in the west =p.
