Actually, all the videogame market is down last YTD, all over the world. And this is a trend that keeps coming since 2010.

850k? It did 24k this week... all sales will be up in Japan in the next three weeks... Week Dec 16 - Dec 22 850k is the minimum if PS3 have no increase in sales in the next weeks. Edit - I did used the LTD sales in previous comments... I was wrong... the drop is over 20%. |
2 weeks left, and last year PS3 was up 5k week over week for the 2 remaining weeks.

Last week of the year was 2x the previous week last year... something like 35k to 70k.

That's week 1 though, the 1.22 figure for last year doesn't include that week 1.

Lol Japan does things a little differently I guess!
Wii U is doing super well. I guess people decided to hold off until holidays to buy one.
Also, no one should be surprised at Puzzles and Dragon's. I was expecting much closer to 7 figures FW.

??
It's in its 3rd or 4th week and its still in the top 20.
Mmmmm, sexy legs everywhere. Not much that hasn't been said already - PDZ did well, WiiU hardware is promising and do game stores in Japan even bother to sell any non-nintendo games anymore?
The usual suspects are pulling silly numbers, Pokemon and AC in particular, Mario is also strong and even less successful things seem to be holding well - AoT, LRFFXIII. Nobunaga also opened up surprisingly well given that it flopped on 3DS earlier this year
35k for Vita isn't brilliant, but at least it shits all over last year's figures. Also VitaTV got a much needed boost which will hopefully keep it ahead of PSP Go for a little longer. Hopefully GE2 can hold into the new year, Burst still kept nudging its way into the charts right up until GE2 released, it would be nice if the same happened again (I suspect that the small install base may prevent this though)

I don't think GungHo will complain, especially as I doubt it was expensive to make and is probably going to leg its way out to some very tasty LTD numbers
