Uh oh, you just sent a distress beacon to all the PC elitists on this site. Run for cover.

I think they will be fine. Many of them don't like the vibration feedback and rumble motors from what I understand. If they would rather just point with a mouse and poke at their keyboard then nothing I can say will change their minds. It's not for me.
It would be like a kid that lives off his mom and plays video games all day on Dr. Phil. No amount of yelling from his step dad is going to make him change and go do something. That's the way he wants to be.
I was a PC only gamer (in my house) for 20 years so I get it. I just think they are missing out of the full flavor of what makes games great today.

Just out of curiosity, you do know that PC controllers with vibration feedback exist, right?
|
Oh, I do, just forgot about that. Do you have any number on how often people use them?
They could use the X1 controller, do they program it the same?

No idea how many people do but the option is there for them. I have two friends who use controllers on PC games. One uses wired and the other wireless. I'm pretty sure if the game is on PC and was originally designed around using a controller then it will be set-up for a range of controller options. Hell, it might even be possible to use the PS4 controller though that may require some type of special driver. The only thing that may be lacking on a non-X1 controller is if the game uses the Impulse Triggers but from what I've heard, and this may be wrong, not all developers are making use of that feature. Even if that is the case, the question then becomes; is a little more vibration more important than potentially better visuals? I say potentially since we don't actually know how the different versions stack up yet.
