Doesn't surprise me, I've seen Xbox Ones on the shelves at retailers several times in the last couple weeks, still haven't seen an actual PS4 in person anywhere except for the display kiosk at a Walmart and Gamestop.

When are poeple going to stop saying this nonsense.

Which city are you in?

Sacramento.  I was at Walmart last night buying other things, heard they'd had a big shipment of PS4's in that day, didn't see one on the shelves.  I was there at 9pm though, probably sold out during the morning.

Why would you wait? Go elsewhere, stock is coming in and going out all the time??

Seems that MS is concentrating on USA and UK for stock. Good to see.

Yet ps4 has outsold Xbox in both countries. Keep spinning it lol.

Wow that's alot of people waiting! Its a bit silly to use that info though since stock is always arriving and those customers could easily go to another store.

People pay way too much attention to these waiting lists. They mean absolutely nothing.

Let's be honest that list will not be upto date as some people will definitely have received their consoles from some place or just put their name down as a *if i cannot get it from elsewhere* plan.

But that doesn't mean there isn't demand, and not sure why people are saying PS4 is easy to get, it's had a massive amount of stock in yesterday, in fact some stores were saying they were getting in more stock than on launch. So yes i am sure as people realise it's in stock in places, it will quickly go out of stock again. Do i think there is 1.8m demand, no, because some people will have put they are interested and ordered elsewhere, and some will have put their name down with the idea of maybe... but with all the stories online recently i have no doubt there is a strong base over the next few months for Sony.

Did PS4 outsell XBO 4:1 in the US. Nope. So this news is complete and utter BS.

You are using stock restrained sales to determine demand ratios? :P

While 4:1 does seem off, it's not completely impossible. The X1 does have more stock in the US, so naturally it's waiting list will be shorter. Along with the PS4 having a higher demand (based on the rate it sells out every time units come in), we can guess it's at least around 1.5:1/2:1.

But you can't talk about demand for anything until you know the stock numbers they recieve.

I thought people said PlayStation can never out sell Xbox in America???

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

what am I spinning... I'm stating the obvious based on evidence.

stop fighting the fight.

Not just you all xbox spinners are praising M$ for sending most of its stock to us/uk while calling sony dumb for not doing the same even though sony has outsold xb1 in both countries. almost 2:1 in one of them too. Seeing the sales sony is able to manufacture more than m$ too it seems. There is no way of spinning this. PS4 demand/sales/manufacturing are higher than xb1's.
