Don't understand how they are comparing games that are brand new from games that have been out for about 30 years. Sales increase over time, especially Mario games.

The same thing was done to SMG. It's a trend now to take the first few days sales and use them to compare to games that have been selling for years or on consoles with much bigger install bases

Saying that the graph shows a decline in sales is dishonest. If you look at the graph, it shows a wii and DS (last gen Mario games) outselling SNES NES and Game boy mario games from previous generations. It also shows that some 3ds mario games outsold SNES and Wii Mario games. You are misinterpreting the graph - other than that Wii U is doing horribly.

Ley's get objective, the sales numbers of Super Mario 3D World are awfully bad for a main Mario platformer. It will sell at the very maximum only half of the sales of Sunshine, the worst in the series.

The start in both USA and Japan have been abysmal.

That's funny. I just got back from Walmart and toysrus and there wasn't a single copy to be found. I call bullshit!

the game isn't selling well but this is no excuse for being lazy and using lifetime sales graphs to compare them with
first 14 day sales.
this graphs proves nothing:
find out how many copies the other mariogames sold in the first two weeks and compare them with the new mario-than we have a base to judge!
