Normally, I start w. water. But in Pearl I started with Twiggy.

I regret that choice now...

In all the other pokemon games listed on my profile though, i have started w. the water

I've always used Fire .... Charmander was so cool .. that after him i always used fire starters, even tough totodile was really cool too :D and i've used him sometimes

Fire for me. Charmander's always been my favourite PKMN, so He's just so damn cute! Though picking him always meant I had a bitch of a time at the first 2 gyms (since Rock and Water are supereffective against him)

Only exception has been Gold/Silver, where I usually pick Chikorita (Cyndaquil once in a while)
