and that with yield issues! if they wouldn't have yield issues retailers would have already so many consoles to tell microsoft that they don't need a new shipment.

to be more serious now, why the fuck is every new shipment of xbox ones at amazon sold out very fast but the same people who always seem to wait for new stock don't realize that they could order at bestbuy? instead of buying there, they wait for new stock at amazon and miss it, wait more days to miss that as well and so on... lol

I'm going to stay away from gaf with this but I think it's safe to say the rumor we all believed about xb1 yield issues wasn't true.

I was obviously joking but who is that? Don't really know all these "important" people from gaf...

Anyone wanting a PS4, check your local Walmart. They have been holding stock back for a week or so for a sale they are having tomorrow at 8am. Even my very small local store will have almost 20, which is more than they have had for either console since launch. I am thinking of going and snagging 1-2 more to resell.

I'd love to know how you came to that conclusion.

He's mainly a Sony insider. He's really open though and tells people why he thinks certain games are coming, instead of just hinting about them. Best insider by far with an excellent track record.

He also started the #PS4 No DRM twitter campaign. He had heard from sources than Sony was planning a similar thing to Microsoft so he made sure people's opinions were heard before it was too late.

Could this be the end of supply problems? It's now in stock online at both Best Buy and Amazon.

I'll make the prediction that it'll be in stock at at least one major online retailer for the rest of the year in America. Should have some huge numbers

5 days later it looks like I was correct. Bestbuy hasn't sold out and now Gamestop, the Microsoft store, Amazon, and Meijer have had them in stock a majority of the time too.

I'm actually pretty impressed that I called this before it became obvious.

FWIW, over the last few days the Xbox One went from in-stock on the 21st, to sold out, to in-stock on the 26th, to now sold out again on Amazon.
