I think it will do ok, but wont come anywhere near the 360 and PS4.
I expect it to do atleast 30m lifetime, but not more than 60m, still too early to narrow it down.

Classic xD

10/10

The Classic has been done before and we already talked about it. Even in this very same thread.

You guys don't read much, do you?

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=5891459

i would say that you are the one who needs to do a bit of reading. its easy, i promise, i already provided the link, just press on it and read whats in it. it will show what hunderds of thousands of people are thinking about the two games instead of a few posters online who all together just make 100 posts.

Still there is no point in bringing up Destiny, it's a multiplatform game (not only on X1 but also on X360), it won't do anything hardware-wise. It's delusional to think otherwise. PS4 2014 game library will look pitiful if uncharted doesn't release this year.

im not the one who brought it up, he did. and no, multiplatform games sell consoles. look at CoD, GTA and Fifa for proof.

Yep. Multiplatform games can definitely move consoles. Especially when the console in question is of a lower pricepoint than its competitor. Destiny for the PS4 is a more attractive price than Destiny for the X1. Same goes for other games like Watch Dogs. It also depends on how much momentum the console already had prior to the launch of the game. If the PS4 is significantly ahead of the X1, and thus has the attention of being the hot console, it's likely that those who are still on the fence and haven't picked one yet and want some of those multiplatform games such as Watch Dogs and Destiny will opt for the PS4. It will be both cheaper and perceived as a safer bet for the longterm.

As far as the PS4's library looking 'pitiful' if Uncharted doesn't release this year, that's making quite a few assumptions. First of all, I would argue that neither library looks like anything special right now. Outside of Titanfall and the next Halo, the X1 has no other games currently aimed at a 2014 release that are generating 'system selling buzz'. As far as I know, there is no official word on when we can expect Fable Legends or Quantum Break. That's even assuming that Titanfall and the next Halo are awesome games. If you want to try and convince me that Sunset Overdrive, Kinect Sports Rivals, or D4 will be amazeballs you're more than welcome to try but I'd advise not wasting your time. Will Infamous: Second Son and The Order: 1886 not be amazing? Possibly but there's also a decent chance that they will indeed be awesome and move some consoles.

As far as titles that may not be system sellers but can certainly help fill out the roster there are plenty. Driveclub may surprise us and be more than just a racing filler for Gran Turismo. There are currently third-party multiplatform games that are announced for the PS4 and not the X1 such as Kingdom Under Fire II and Final Fantasy XIV which is actually proving successful. There are projects yet to be revealed for 2014 on the PS4 such as whatever nDreams is working on along with a number of rumored titles. We also can't forget the smaller games that collectively can make a big difference. Shadow of the Beast, Rime, and Helldivers are smaller games to watch for. Rime certainly has people curious. Then there is the huge list of digital-only games not published by Sony but thus far not announced for X1. Basically, saying that the PS4 needs Uncharted this year to have a good software lineup is being rather ignorant.

Please, destiny it's also on old gen systems and they are going to be very cheap. People won't buy a PS4 to play destiny. It's just delusional to bring up destiny as an argument to counter titanfall and halo5. It makes PS4 look worse, like it needs to put its hopes on a multi-multi-platform title.

Also all those game you mentioned are not going to be big seller and you know it. They may be good or bad, but they won't be commercially huge.

Have you guys seen Titanfall?

Yes, I have. I'll be playing it on my 360 like the majority of gamers will. People aren't going to upgrade to a $500.00 console unless they have to.

Why does second place have to mean doom anyway? 360 is in third, but I don't see any doom there.

I find it funny that playstation fans dislike the x1 so much and want it to fail and vice versa. Seriously, they share like 90% of their game catalogue with each other and have almost the same specs and features. One would think if a person enjoyed one of the systems they would like the other because they are pretty much the same thing...

As far as whether the x1 is doomed, the answer is no. Will it sell better than the ps4? The answer is also no. Will the x1 be a success for microsoft? The answer is most probably yes.

wow wait.. x1 have the same specs as ps4? Can your facts be more straight?
