Forums - Politics - Drone strike on wedding party in Yemen kills at least 13 civilians

The one thing I find kinda shady about 9/11 is it's actually not very easy to pilot an aircraft of that size into a specific building.

I heard one pilot describe it as driving a giant pick up truck down a street, turning into a drive way, all at a high speed perfectly into a garage spot.

They had many professional pilots with thousands of hours of flying time try to replicate the 9/11 collision path in simulators several times and only a few of them could do it after several tries.

And the "terrorists" only had a few hours in the air flying a tiny Cesna plane apparently, yet they hit their target 2/2 times.

I don't really have a huge stake in the argument one way or another, I just find it a little curious.

EDIT, here's the video clip, it's from Pilots For 9/11 Truth or something:

Yeah that is sad. Now compare it to the the thousands upon thousands of innnocents that terrorists have blown up.

Absolutely embarrassing comment you've made there. You are actually excusing this?

You can't compare murders.

Yes I can and I just did.

Does the US compensate the family of this civilians in some way? I mean they killed this people, probably blew the houses/meeting place away... Do they really go unpunished? Why do I even ask:( What kind of creppy world we live in... Well US, I would just say... Remember karma is a bitch...

If there is any justice in this universe, somebody someday will have the same attitude when something similar happens to you.

So if someone would come and kill you and your family you would not care because of millions starving everyday?

What is your adress?

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

One man's terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. This is why the majority in the rest of the world hate America, they do what they want, no repercussions whatsoever.

Christ this is the problem with these kinds of threads. A tragedy happens, everyone is upset.

Then people use that opportunity to push batshit insane conspiracy theories that anybody who does 15 minutes worth of research or knows real credible experts in the field could tell you was complete bullshit.

Honestly I think it is just a matter of time when those kind of drones will be used in USA and then the collatoral damage will not be some folks in a country most can't point on a map but innocent US citizens..

Oh, i was talking about the 9/11 was an inside job bullshit.

I'm sure those drones will be used for surveleince soon.  Hell they probably are.

Really though.  That isn't much different then the police helicopters that seem to be flying over certain neighborhoods 24/7.  The only worry is that the drones will be equipped with stuff like heat seeking devices which violate the fourth ammendment... but that could already be in police helicopters.

I think people afraid of drones mostly just haven't lived in poorer neighberhoods.  This is in no way an endorsement... but shit already be like a police state in poorer neighberhoods.

People act like stop and frisk is a rogue policy, but it's pretty standard.
