Forums - Nintendo - Which wii-u game will be the first game to make full use of the gamepad??

No matter what games come out, no matter how they implement the GamePad, there will always be someone who insists that the same thing could've been done just as well or better with a regular controller.

We shouldn't even be here. ZombiU was a launch title for crying out loud.

NintendoLand and ZombiU (at least these two) already show gamepad as quite effective in gameplay.

Then you add all the other games for the off-TV experience, which in my home is a critical feature.

err... Nintendo Land ? ZombiU ? Rayman Legends ? Art Academy

Those games make excellent use of the Gamepad. I can´t imagine ZombiU without it. It would be just an average shooter if it didn´t have the Gamepad functions to add to the horror sense.

Some people say that Deus Ex also make great use of it. I´m waiting for my copy to come and experience that myself. Can´t talk about Wii Party U because I haven´t played it yet

next one? Zelda. Not gonna happen with MK because that is a heavily MP game and i doubt that Ninty will make it so imbalanced that only one person witll enjoy the benefits of the gamepad. Zelda is SP so it has no hurdles they can go ape...or Kong

Mario Kart... allowing us to see the behind view on the gamepad

Sonic all Stars Racing Transformed does that already!

Nintendoland, Zombi U, Rayman Legends, Wii Party U, Game & Wario are all great to show off the gamepad.

It is pretty useful in most games as well (Arkham City, Mario 3D World, W101, WWHD)

I love the gamepad! Hopefully they still integrate the second gamepad, that would be tons of fun.

I thought Arkham City used the Gamepad well?

Oh well, in any case after a year on the Market and still no game to really justify the Gamepad's existance. I still say drop it.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Batman Arkham City did it for me. Maybe Nintendo Land?

Nintendo Land, Zombi U, Game & Wario, Batman: Arkham City, Wii Party U, and Rayman Legends pretty much do most everything with the game pad aside from the Wii U Zapper thing that Nintendo showed.

I guess Wii Sports Club soon with golf (put the tablet on the floor) and baseball (catching) soon as well.

The gamepad is demoed fairly well by quite a few games actually.
