I don't think they said Never but I hope you're wrong since Super Mario Advance 3 : Yoshis Island is one of my favourite games of all time to this day. Perhaps the SNES original would be possible on the 3ds... psp can't even emulate that properly tho lol.

Unfortunately I believe they did, I don't like it either as I really would like it if more people play games like Metroid Fusion, WarioWare and Fire Emblem Sacred Stones.

also, I can't bring myself to play theSNES Yoshi's island, I'm too used to Yoshi's voice! XD

The SNES original doesn't have Yoshis voice but it does have far better graphics than the GBA port (which will work fine in GBSP on the psp btw) but yeah the original Yoshi's Island has far more layers of foreground from the Super FX chip and the scaling of sprites is done just beautifully in the growing sections of boss fights or being chased onto the moon..... damn that game is so great, wanna go play it now.

One of the biggest crimes pulled by NoA was not localizing this game, unlike NoE. Really bad move.

whos talking Wii U? thats a whole other can of worms. the OP clearly states 3ds and thats what im on about. This x80 what sort of cruel game are you playing when we know you can do it, there are TONS of games out of print that are worthy but instead you just play with our emotions? Start dropping classic GBA and DS software on the eShop already!
