the 10 days i'm refering to are the sales of the first week in the US + 3 days after the console was available in the EU.

Calling people silly must be the only way for you to have a discussion when your arguments are weak. And where did i say he was never banned?

Erm.

All we have so far is, 2,1 million PS4's sold during the first 10 days and 2 million Xbox One's sold in 18 days. Nothing more!

That seems pretty straight forward to me. You simply said PS4 did 2.1 Million in the first 10 days which is false.

2.1 Million in 18 days for PS4 vs 2 Million in 18 days for Xbox One. Neck and neck on supply.

The "never" part was in reference to you saying he gets away with everything he does. kow has one of the longest mod histories on the site...

Actually going by vgchartz it's 2.1 in 15 days, 14 of which were in north America alone

Wow, that is some really good numbers. I would never have expected them to be this close to each other. I am still hesitant regarding their ability to keep the preasure and seelmhigh numbers through the coming year, but it is an awesome start for both X1 and PS4.

Not even worth posting in this thread again i see. Another clusterfuck of fanboys going at it.

Well done to Xbox One on the sales! It definitely exceeded my expectations

Intel Core i7 3770K [3.5GHz]|MSI Big Bang Z77 Mpower|Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1866 2 x 4GB|MSI GeForce GTX 560 ti Twin Frozr 2|OCZ Vertex 4 128GB|Corsair HX750|Cooler Master CM 690II Advanced|

would give a +1 for anyone who could supply the numbers for the next few weeks right now

so many variables : supply, leftoverstock, demand, productiontime

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Judging by the sheer amount of posts here, I can only imagine there were debates about this? Like are there people here trying to downplay this??

Because I for one am continually being surprised by this positive news. Globally, I know PS4 is winning, but I expected X1 to be a bomb with all the negative public opinion and $100 price difference.

So this makes me happy to hear, especially since it means well take 2nd place by next holiday :)

No, just people trying to downplay the PS4 performance with wrong comparisons

i don't see that here, its more like people being happy with xbox numbers

Interesting

So this is 2m sold through (in homes) by Monday .

Overtracked here? lol. I think not.

Not to mention, pushing out a LOT of consoles in 18 days. Over 2 Million. Who'd have thought that eh?

I know..... those yield issues are killing them.

What yield issues?
There are plenty unsold Xbox consoles in stores
There are surely enough people who wanted a PS4 and didn't want to wait till spring 2014 to get one....A friend of mine acted like that but he gladly got his PS4.
Those numbers mean nothing - If Sony could provide supply no matter how big the number is they would have sold it.
You can't get a PS4 ANYHWHERE in stores by walking in but you can get Xbox Ones easily(outside of the USA) - ANd while waiting till you get a PS4 some people don't mind picking up a One in the meantime.

To people that are confusing the number of days of PS4 2.1m.

Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) today announced that cumulative sell through for the PlayStation®4 (PS4™) computer entertainment system worldwide has surpassed 2.1 million units*1 as of December 1, 2013.

*1 Number of retail sales to consumers is estimated by SCEI.

http://www.scei.co.jp/corporate/release/131203b_e.html

The data is for untill 30th November... like they posted it for 1st December.

15 days for  United States and Canada
2 days for Europe, Australasia and Latin America

Very very impressive given several factors:

The online negativity about the console, the $499 price point, and the weak market for Xbox in Europe.

They're really not too far behind PS4 likely (Sony announced 2.1 m in 16 days, whereas this is 2m in 18 days I believe).

In revenue terms for the same time period MS is likely way ahead due to the 25% higher price point.

I am sure PS4 is still more popular, XBO stays in stock longer. However I wonder how things would look if XBO was 399 like PS4.

this also proves the longstanding GAF FUD campaign about huge yield problems with XBO was nonsense, and what little credibility CBOAT had left has been shattered. I honestly wonder if MS could look into suing Neogaf for libel, given they conduct an orchestrated campaign against Xbox. Probably not.

Seriously any stick MS gets on neogaf is all of their own making and deservedly so for the way MS conducted themselves and Sony got similar stick for the ps3 launch, gaf just calls it like they see it there's no agenda there

nonsense, cboat has the most bitter hate imaginable for xbox and it shines through every post he makes. as does many of the posters on neogaf to be fair.

he said for months and months that xbox was suffering horrendous yield problems, the forum and even the wider internet to some extent took it as truth, it turned out to be a complete lie and fabrication, just as microsoft said all along.

oh well, at least i hope everybody realizes guys like cboat have zero credibility when it comes to bashing xbox in particular going forward, that's the only positive to come out of them being exposed so many times in recent weeks.

the ps3 bashing was never anything close to xbox bashing at any point. i was on neogaf in 2006. i would venture to say the majority defended ps3 in that time if anything, this idea ps3 was harrased in 2005-2006 isn't really true. it took some lumps but the scale was so much less.

i dont really think ms can sue a forum or a forum user for libel in this case, but the neogaf stuff was so egregious it almost becomes something to think about.

I read neogaf alot there's rabid fanboys on both sides and yes ms get alot of stick but it's to be e expected given how they conducted themselves and quotin. Cboat as neogaf is cherrypicking

I hope you know it was adjusted down just yesterday.

So basicly prepare for the next round of adjustments

Not really. As the 2 million we're talking about here includes the sales of next week, which VGC hasn't updated yet.
