Yes. The new Witcher 3 and The Division trailers blew me away.

You're comparing PC to XBox One, no wonder there is no huge leap.
Compare XBox 360 launch games to XBox One, there is your leap.

You already made the leap by jumping to PC
I do and don't agree with you:
1) When my friend showed me COD2 and Halo 2 on his 360 in 2005 I said: "It doesn't really look much better to me at all." COD3 and Resistance were the first games to make me be amazed, and Killzone 2 is the ONLY time I have been absolutely floored by a games graphics.
2) Killzone 3 is IMO, better looking than any other game out now in 1080p (Even ties BF4 maxed out on PC). I have never seen better lighting and detail. The division is also breathtakingly better looking than absolutely anything on last gen.
3) I do find that I don't download graphics videos as often as I used to, or care as much about them for that matter. But I think this is because graphics are WAYYY ahead of the streaming tech that cannot even correctly show off last gen games, so I just know to not bother any more.
Overall I think this gen is as big a leap as last (For PS4, not for Xbox One), but it is Xbox -> 360 and not PS2 -> PS3. How much you appreciate the new graphics is gonna come down to the details:
-Do you notice in Killzone SF you can see entire reflections of people in the pools of water they walk over?
-Can you notice the individual threads of fibers in peoples clothing?
-Can you see the massive increase in draw distance, and your ability to actually distinguish between a bush and person from more than 50 feet away?
-Do you notice the amount of debris and little details everywhere? (Yesterday I zoomed in on a realistic looking butterfly in a forest in BF4).
I can notice these things, and they blow me away. But wait for Uncharted or Cyberpunk 2077 to be truly stunned by graphics...
I will join the wagon for unimpressed. It is however, exactly as i predicted a year ago. Part of that prediction is that the sales for new consoles will be dropping fast.
Its not as easy to convince consumers to upgrade when there isnt enough visible difference.
The thing is, in the past technical upgrades translated into new gameplat experiences. But the current gen can do just about everthing already. The only real upgrades next-gen brings to the table besides slightly better graphics, more silly particles flying and lighting effects is potencial for stable 60fps and limited loading times. Yet, these advantages are not easy to explain to the average consumer and are not easily visible.
The Witcher 3 looks really good i admit, but i cant get excited for it cause i played the second one, wich also had great graphics but bored me to tears cause all those pretty looking sword moves are all automated. The combat is boring to no end. They can throw me all the eye-candy they want. All i can see on the footage is how boring the game will be unless they revamp the melee combat.

I started gaming on the Atari 2600. I've been through every generation transition.
I think the graphics this gen are stunning, much better than last gen.
I certainly am. Year one on PS4 and we'll be getting a game like this on it -

So I expect to be absolutely blown away by Uncharted and Santa Monica Studio's next game.

Crysis 3 Ultra >>> Killzone Shadows Fall. I'm not going to be blown away by KZ. Now maybe Uncharted or Halo will but like I said I'm at the point where I think games have plateaued. I think PC has spoiled me. If I went straight from 360/PS3 to PS4/Xbox One then yeah I would probably be more impressed.
I was impressed by the train scene in Beyond Two Souls last night. Not sure how graphics can get much better than that.

Yea me too. Next generation meant literally next generation back then. Haven't played the first generation.
