Really Pokemon in Japan only 1% digital? I'm going to go on record and say that is entirely not true. Games like that are preferable downloaded IMO. |

Famitsu only tracks people buying the physical digital cards that have the code.
Not someone going straight to the eshop and using their credit / debit card.

2. Sales are 517k in the US not 550k (you mixed up NoA with US) http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly/41609/USA/ 3. Sales for Nintendo games aren't 10%-15%. All games vary but avg out (at least on 3DS) to about 3%-5% Srry if i come off like an ***! Just being honest O.o Here are facts though |

I said on avg! LoZ has at least 20% yes, and aside from it in the US, Fire Emblem/AC are the only ones with a 10% or more attach ratio

This changes everything.

Don't forget the Limited Edition Zelda 3DS XL includes a digital version of the game, not physical though. Wonder how many consoles they made. Picked one up at the weekend and my local GAME had a few in stock so looks like it was a pretty big run.
Having had a quick look at the game, I hope it manages the 6-10m mark. They've really nailed the feeling of Link to the Past and Link's awakening (something which I don't think the GBA/DS zeldas previously managed.)
I think when it was announced I said to would sell 7-8 million lifetime. I still think that. My thought process is that it is like a "New" LoZ, and will follow a similar sales trend as NSMB did in comparison to the early Mario games. LoZ and ALttP have some of the best sales numbers of the series, and I see ALBW tapping into that.
