I'd like a 2D Metroid game, I never truly got to embrace the full impact of Super Metroid back in the day. But I guess by process of elimination Nintendo would only endeavor that on the 3DS.

WiiU of course

Which console do you want to see Metroid on?
Personally, I love console games, but I haven't seen a good handheld metroid in years.

I would love if they made one for both, like they're releasing super smash on both.

Well, to be fair, there hasn't been one in 7 years.

I hope for, and expect, at least one Metroid title on both 3DS and Wii U.

If it is a side-scroller, I'd want it on 3DS. Maybe they can give Metroid the ALBW treatment. If it is a FPA, then I want it on Wii U, and I'd buy the console the day it was announced.

2DS exclusive pls.

Just admit it isn't system selling and make a small scale game.

3d third person adventure metroid on wii u and true 2d (sprite) metroid on 3ds.

I'd love for Nintendo to release a new Prime Hunters, never had such fun online with a handheld FPS like I had with the first one for DS. While I'd also like a Wii U release, if it's a Prime/FPS release it needs Wiimote support, otherwise it'll be a big disappointment for me, at least.

Isn't the question: wil they made a another Metroid?

The last two installments pretty much flopped. If Metroid is returning, it's likely to be a reboot in some sorts.

How exactly?

Other M and Prime 3 sold about the same as the other Metroids.
