Eh, even so, I think right now I care more about Nintendo Direct than VGX. I mean the show is currently featuring Donkey Kong Competition... snore.

Imagine that instead of f***ing DK they have revealed another Metroid by Retro. Yeah, everybody could have been talking about, just like another ND, but also, people that does not see usually ND will have exposure to that new game.

And we know that there are out there more exciting games waiting to be announced than just a character.

Stop allowing what? Make a reveal of a character from a games that's going to be amazing instead of a new one? Which we know is going to come eventually? It is dissapointing, but people like to take this to whole new levels.

I honestly don't understand why people are raging so much about this. You want a Zelda reveal? Wait until E3, you know the game is going to come anyway. Metroid? Maybe at E3 as well. People are just pissed that "core" gamers will make fun of Nintendo, which is extremely stupid and just shows how people take the internet way too serious.

Good post. Sure it's disappointing but it's not the end of the world. Donkey Kong was the wrong game for that audience, yes, but it's still on the way, as is Smash, Mario Kart, Zelda, etc.

Looked fun, but still the wrong announchment. X and Smash should have been ready to be shown right now, and they would have been better. And imagine if they got Joel to play MK or SSB with Reggie.
