FYI, fans are excited about a new DK game (as its predecessor was one of the finest platformers of last gen), but it was underwhelming as a reveal. Nice try though.

I am willing to call Nintendo out when they deserve it... but what's wrong with showing off a trailer for their next game?

They'll make reveals later when it's the right time to do so. Otherwise we'll just have SMT x FE/ Yarn Yoshi scenarios where they announce a game before development has started properly and the game doesn't get released for the next two years.

Stop allowing what? Make a reveal of a character from a games that's going to be amazing instead of a new one? Which we know is going to come eventually? It is dissapointing, but people like to take this to whole new levels.

I honestly don't understand why people are raging so much about this. You want a Zelda reveal? Wait until E3, you know the game is going to come anyway. Metroid? Maybe at E3 as well. People are just pissed that "core" gamers will make fun of Nintendo, which is extremely stupid and just shows how people take the internet way too serious.
