Oh please I get more free games everyday on my Iphone and don't have to pay any subscription now that is a service =p;

Except 99.9% of those games are complete garbage.

I'd say about 90%.   Dead Space, Peggle, Fruit Ninja, Angry Birds, Sprinkle, Infinity Blade 2(5 years), the 99 cent deal on EA and Warner Bros were nice too, when I first got my iPad in April, I probably spent $30 on games easily.   Hasen't been a good one in a couple months though.

PS+ is by far the best gaming service ever created. There is nothing that comes close to it....nothing.

Steam is a platform from how I see it.

I want to find a valid platform to use as competition, but the best ones I can come up with are Activision Blizzard, Sony(They got a bunch of FTP games), EA, and any other major third party.

Technically EA has Origin, and Blizzard have their own clients.    And League of Legends by itself is a monster of a game.   Then there's games like World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, Call of Duty 4, that are popular yet.

Your Internet Provider must love you for all them downloads.

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Yeah, at 10 days, I used 295gb of bandwidth.   Mostly doing Youtube uploads which get big pretty fast.

I have no quarrel paying for the service to access online, as I have paid for XBL in the past, getting free games is a bonus, what I have a quarrel with, however, is that you state that these games are "yours", they are not. Once you stop paying for the service, you don't own them anymore. What it was on PS3 is a glorified rental service, what it is on PS4 is significantly more value seeing as they've now decided to put the online behind a paywall.

I think what you're missing out on are those casual gamers that only intend to buy console for a chosen few games, like COD or Fifa, and won't really end up playing jack shit besides those two franchises, that's who Sony hurt with these new additions for PS4, but at least the price point is lower, so it kind of justifies choosing PS4 over XB1.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

I don't really play online multiplayer like CoD or MW, but I have PS+ for the game collections, and discounts.
Basically what I do is I play them, collect their trophies, and I move on.

Borderlands 2 is going to be free for members tomorrow in NA, and One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 is going to cost $12.50. lol

What am struggling to understand is this though, the PS+ subscription on PS3 allows you to create parties so you can converse with your friends, what stopped them from allowing the users that didn't have PS+ to do the same?

Also, I think they would have been in an AMAZING position now had they left the online f2p and maintained the PS+ as a subscription service, to be fair the rental is relatively cheap considering there is no specific due date, and the "free" games do come out often enough to justify purchasing that service just for the sole reason of "free" games"

Does anybody have a spare PS Plus US trial code.

Would be really appreciated.
