Gotta ask but would any of the people in this thread that play exclusively on Playstation systems even give this game the time of day if it was an Xbox exclusive? Just wondering

If Destiny was Xbox One exclusive(like it was originally going to be) and Titanfall was exclusive to the PS4, i would think that Destiny looked better

Destiny does look beautiful.

More beautiful than other games is just a personal preference.

no, i'm talking about more fun. The world looks more fun to me. I think the overall experience of Desting will be Superior to Titanfall

Titanfall and Halo 5 will dwarf it anyway.

No it won't Destiny will be a lot bigger then titanfall at least.

LOL Destiny will not get close to Titanfall numbers. Titanfall will sell Xboxes like hotcakes in March. Its going to be similar to the Gears of War effect, especially with Microsoft and EA behind the media circus, it might get worse.

You think so?

That would be crazy if Titanfall did 6 mill like Gears

You have to remember that Titanfall is an online only game.. i believe

Microsoft always rests their brands launch on another companies game. Last gen it was Gears this gen it will be the timed exclusivity of the Titanfall franchise. Titanfall is going to be big. Everyone knew Gears was going to be a hit and it sold Xboxes when it first came out. Microsoft doesn't really use new tricks. Very predictable company. As for Destiny, that game lost all of its hype the second E3 hit and Titanfall made its debut. Destiny was one of the most hyped games walking into E3 and Titanfall took almost every applicable award available.

Lol all of this remind me of when FF13 was slated for 360... the fan rage was like a 20 over richter. The same happened when they announced about pretty much every PS2 "exclusives" heading to 360, Tekken and Devil May Cry are more examples... people are taking this too seriously. I got into Xbox mainly because of Halo and seeing Bungie going multiplat and favoring Playstation doesn't bother me at all. Almost half of the team left for 343 and other studios anyway it's not like Halo is now on bad hands.

Not sure if you know this but only like 5 people from Bungie joined 343i, people tend to think it's a lot more.

Wait... So you're mad because they wanted to do something other than Halo, cattering to a broader audience?

You wanted to continue your gaming life, and in 30 years, play Halo 23 still being made by Bungie? Really guys... This is some real childishly entitled behaviour.

No, when did I say that I didn't want them to move on to something other than Halo? I was perfectly fine with them handing Halo off to 343i and using their creative talents on a new series. What me and so many other Xbox fans are mad about is Bungie snubbing them by making PS4 their primary platform, and they have every right to be mad at Bungie after supporting them for so many years.

This silliness really needs to stop. People acting as if they're so personally offended by Bungie's slight shift towards the PS4 for one damn game. If something like that pisses you off so much then don't you dare buy Sunset Overdrive by Insomniac considering the many, many years and title after title that PlayStation fans spent supporting them only to watch an exclusive be made for the X1 after they ended the Resistance franchise and kept giving them now half-assed Ratchet & Clank games. How about boycotting Titanfall since millions upon millions of PlayStation fans supported EA and the original Infinity Ward team just to watch a console exclusive deal get made? How about the Metal Gear franchise going completely multiplatform now? Will you refuse to buy Final Fantasy after the ridiculously long and successful history it had with Sony? Stop acting like brats. At least you're still getting the damn game which is more than can be said for the first two examples. If you loved Bungie so much then shouldn't your loyalty be more for them than Microsoft? Afterall, Bungie is probably the only reason Microsoft is even still in the game.

Deals were made. So? It's not like the Xboxes won't get Bungie games. For all we know, the "exclusive content" for the PS platforms will be timed.

As for betraying their fans... Bungie has been a second party since 2007. They didn't own whatever they were creating with Microsoft. Until they signed a contract with Activision and stopped making Halo games.  Since they're now fully third party, it was up to whatever publisher and manufacturer to sign deals with them. Seems like MS didn't feel like they needed them anymore. Since Bungie did created their cashcow... Now, tell me, who left who behind?

Nah...Bungie knows its not smart to keep content from Microsoft. Sony's content wont last long. That timed exclusivity stuff only really hurts when MS does it. COD, Bioshock, Resident Evil, Ninja Gaiden 2, Condemned, Skyrim and more games told the story of last gen timed exclusivity. Microsoft knows that timed exclusivity changes mental perception especially when consumers have an itchy trigger finger for purchasing content.

Nobody in this thread is mad or bothered that Bungie left MS Studios.

My opinion was that bungie announced Destiny for PS4 and gave all the perks to the Sony community, without giving a shout out to the playas on Xbox.

I felt weird because I used to love them and they could've adressed the community even if they have beef with Microsoft.

They were like "bye mother effs".

And then I just left my opinion:

I hope Titanfall and Halo 5 sell better.

That's how, all the turmoil started.

Your post make 0 sence to me no disrespect.

Read my post above yours.

The silliness you're talking about is not my type of behavior, clarify yourself!

Chill bro, maybe I missed it but I never saw him say anything about boycotting the game, Sony fans had similar feelings about certain games. Although I don't agree with it, it's easy to see how some people might feel betrayed, just like with Insomniac.

Dude...seriously? Sony's ability to keep content away from Microsoft is weak unless they pay for it in full and outright. The timed exclusivity isn't even going to be that long. Microsoft got Titanfall exclusively for one iteration of the franchises life. I say Microsoft continues to get the better end of the third party deal. Sony owners have to wait for Titanfall 2.
