They will quieten down when the sales of the console start faltering.

In all honestly they were always around. Its just that they never really had anything worthwhile to talk about. Its a new gen with lots of things to talk about.

Plus if i spend 430 quid on a console. I damn well will defend my purchase if someone is saying its crap. Much like when i brought my first PS3.

ODST was a mess, but the sad thing is, it's not the lowest rated Halo. Halo CEA is 82%, ODST is 83%...

Honestly ODST felt like a DLC chapter for Halo 3. I think Ms pushed Bungie into making it a full game to make the lineup of games look fuller.

What? i was here in around 2011-2012 their were a ton of MS fans even though some started to leave.

Old selnor was so much more vocal and emotional, this one is just in love with ryze. Some ms fans like seece or kowenicki became more respectful and smart over the years, so i guess that decreased a certain trolling presence. Oh and toastboy started to troll nintendo.

I left in 2012 because Gamewise was a horrible breakup and you've got to be kidding yourself if you think it benefited this website. I came back after the Sony PS4 reveal and M$ was about to announce it's DRM policies. I came back when it was the worst time to come back. When all was doomed for M$. It felt lonely, but I loved it. It felt like a zombie apocalypse just happened and there were no rules. It felt like the M$ camp was breaking. Some fled, some got turned into Sony Zombies. The stragglers tried to band together but most of the time they got eaten alive. Only the strongest of the M$ fans could survive. I stuck out the fight. Now where were you? You seemed to have turned Sony there for a while.

Why don't you like Miscrosoft, but you like X-Box? I have a Windows phone, and to be honest I think it's pretty decent (not as good as Android, but cheap and being Nokia, super reliable). Windows OS also is the only way you can play PC games.


Let's just say they're not the Microsoft I once liked. Even since Bill Gates left (as the chairman), the company has gone downhill. The only thing I keep liking from them is Xbox, because Windows has gone downhill too, and I just don't like Windows Phone (but I dislike phones in general, mind you).

Maybe that's true, but it's not like mac or ubuntu OS's have improved either. Windows 7 is still goo, and XP was awesome, I'm going to use those as long as I can.

For phones, I much prefer Androids. In Canada it's legal to have and play a ROM "backup" to a game you own. I own a lot of SNES/GBA games, and most are RPG's so they can be played fine with touch screen buttons.

a) Scores are inflated, an 80% is really a B game nowadays, not an A game.

b) Halo games typically score well into the 90's, especially the first 2. While ODST was cool, and Firefight was awesome (but no online Firefight with people outside your friends list??), it's only a B game.

For reference:

97 - Halo
95 - Halo 2
94 - Halo 3
91 - Halo: Reach

87 - Halo 4
83 - Halo 3: ODST
82 - Halo CEA
82 - Halo Wars

In my opinion, I think the top 4 Halo's are amazing, and the others are nothing special. If I were to buy an XBO anytime soon, I'd only pay full price for a Halo if it was as good as the first 4, and I don't think 343 can do that.
