We know that every console Sony makes this year will be sold to customers so the question is, can Sony produce 2 million consoles in a month?

Im gonna doubt it, WiiU holiday sales should give it a small boost so I think Sony will fall just short on shipments. But those sales will continue in January/February as in most places its presold out until then, if not though demand is crazy high

This assumes that the Wii U sells no further systems and the PS4 sells around 500k a week more than the Wii U. That's not happening, so I'm going to assume that the Wii U will stay ahead...likely with a million advantage in hand, or around that.

The problem is PS4 supply.

Realistic year end numbers:

Wii U - 4.9 million
PS4 - 3.6 million

Wii U will be #1 until Japan PS4 launch.

They wont be able to produce enough if the EU numbers are anything to go by.

Plain and simple: No. No way do they have that supply ready.

I'm guessing Sony makes it just over 3m by the end of the year and WiiU will move though I'm getting more and more pessimistic about just how much

You think it's going to sell 0 over the next 5 weeks? Wait don't answer that.

Europes launch shows you Sony have low stock, they won't be able to send another 3.5m consoles out this year.
