Sorry but this is bullshit.  They can deny the right to publish on XBLA without banning self publishing, that trashware stuff is 100% nonsense.  MS published does not make something a MS studios game.

Have you ever heard of Killer Instinct made by DH?
You're reaching nonsense to to spout hate. You're always up for some rubbish.

Oh Killer Instinct is the XBox 360 now is it?  No it isn't.

Don't try that crap, you already mentioned the 360, and only listed 360 games until I called out your bullshit about what are actually MS games.

Just admit you was wrong.

Microsoft always fund third party studios to make games for them, especially on XBLA.

As you can imagine they're only on MS's platforms. Self publishing on XBLA would bring trashware like this one Indy game called "No LUCA No". Uttertrash and there's ton of them.

This decision keeps XBLA library clean of bad games and makes independent devs take their game production MO serious.

XBLA is gonna continue on X1 and MS is gonna continue with their strategy.

And to you, stop talking out of your ass after I called you out: MS published does not make something a MS studios game.

does it really matter who is the publisher ???? all that matter is that they are on the market place ???? if anything MS forcing XBLA title to be published by them should be a downside and fact is the XBLA offering is of really good quality and you have plenty of games to go around.... so I don't really see the point being demonstrated beside saying it's an MS game or not which is pretty irrelevant in that thread IMO...

Geometry Wars people! Geometry Wars 2 is one of the best games of the seventh generation.

Also, Ikaruga.

along with Geometry Wars, as some others have mentioned, you gotta pick up Mutant Storm Reloaded.
both games are twin-stick shooter nirvana.
simple, addictive, and mindlessly entertaining.

There's a lot lol. My personal top 10 would be Bastion, Walking Dead, Trials Evolution, Shadow Complex, ilomilo, Castle Crashers, Beyond Good&Evil, Dust, Limbo, A World of Kelfing(Was free). Btw, check out Ascend; F2P game that's pretty good.

Most of these games I bought when they were on sale at one point, like I do with most xbla games, but I would have paid full in a heart beat for any of those

I bought Kingdom of Keflings, World of Keflings, and all of the DLC.  I LOVED those games.  They looked like crap but boy were they addictive--especially with multi-player.

Own both and totally agree. Tbh I haven't even played World of Kelfing, only the first one and still need to beat it. Suggested Worlds cause it was free earlier and heard it's better than the original.

I don't know what you've played, but Shadow Complex is one of the best games ever created.

This, funny thing though is I bought it day 1, played it for 2-3 hours, loved it, said I would save it for later because I want to have time to beat everything......haven't picked it up since.

I'm not big on XBLA/PSN, but a while ago they gave away a game called Carcassonne out for free. It's based off a board game, but it's really fun to play.

I was one of those that played Shadow Complex and loved it. I need to play it again one of these days. I never did 100% it. I wonder if it's as good as I remember or if it's so fondly remembered because it was one of the first games to show what a downloadable title could be--an experience on par with and as satusfying as retail games.

More personal favs:
-The Maw
-Splosion Man and Ms. Splosion Man
-Comic Jumper
-Braid
-Limbo
-Super Meat Boy
-Fez
-Pac Man CE
-Peggle (oh, the stories I could tell you)
-Uno (oh, the DIRTY stories I could tell you!)
-Super Stardust HD

Scrolled down all the posts, unless i missed it, nobody mentioned this little gem.........

Dust: An Elysian Tail.

More great XBLA games.......... most if not all exclusive to XBLA.

Shadow Complex.
Guardian Heroes.
Ikaruga.
Radiant Silvergun.
Diswasher:Vampire Smile.
Charlie murder.
Duke Nukem 3D.
Rez HD.
