No all the comments in the op are from dark. Those comments are from him. His answer to why he said Ryse was best in the article, and why he said Killzone in the forum.

This topic should be closed because it is poorly worded. In no way does the poster "backtrack" anything. He simply states that both Ryse and Shadow Fall look the best on respective platform and both are doing stuff that he could see be "on the top" but he still says he prefers Killzone.

And thats that ^^

(And anyone with any knowledge on specs will tell you that the PS4 has an advantage over X1 in terms of it. Make of that, what you will. Hell just factor in the vast differences in game design for KZ and Ryse. Ryse SHOULD be better looking due to what it is.)

i think both games look so good that it is more about wether you like roman or sci fi setting.

A little bit strange that he complains about unlocked fps that runs on a higher level+ignoring lower res(noone would buy a smartphone with a cam that has such low resolution because you can tell the difference even on a postcard sized picture,but on a huge screen it does not mind??????)

Both games are important to set Standards in graphical terms to help eliminate games that run with 720p/30fps.This is even far below gt5 standard and not acceptable on next gen)

Talk about trying to make a certain website happy initially. Backfired on him quickly.

Strange to see Gaf side with Ryse though. Maybe they aren't all that bad.

Its offtopic, but the fifa gameplay is mostly the same they have fixed some of the balancing issues tho with things like headers being overpowered. BUT the range of animations is now enourmous the whole thing just looks much more fluid and realistic and it looks like players genunily have full control of the ball now. Plus the crowds are a massive step up so the emersion isnt lost on replays, also replays are now 60fps and look stunning. Id say its 1 game where graphics / animations have genunily made a big impact on the enjoyment of the game.

So they're tied but Killzone wins due to aesthetics. Fair enough, I'll take that! Especially since Killzone is supposed to be worse looking considering the game design compared to Ryse (Linear is supposed to beat more open in terms of visual fidelity alone).

Yes, those are, but he NEVER said be backtracked what he said. Your title is a lie.

He said he puts Killzone on top. Then says that honestly both could be on top but he prefers Killzone more.

He then goes on to say that both are on top, with Killzone being the best on PS4 and Ryse the bet on XBOne.

Out of all of this the best we can settle on is that the "towering above the rest" comment is not a tower that only houses Ryse. Best we can get is that both look fantastic, best on consoles, with the author having a personal preference for Killzone.

I can't see how you could take anything else out his comments but that.

Both are amazing, I prefer Killzone because it has stunning art direction but Ryse is more realistic and the detail is crazy.
