Forums - Gaming - To all the gamers on here who hate on Call of Duty, madden, fifa, etc..

There's no other game that's more fun to play against my friends than Fifa.
Little things that only hardcore fans notice, makes difference. Like: roster change, graphical update, changes in the game mechanics, new modes, etc... it could all be updated with a patch or DLC but we(consumer) have no choice.
I always wait for a price cut unless I know the game is splendid or my friends are on it like flies on doodoo.
Most critics here don't play the game so they're not in a position to comment about those series because if you don't get it, you don't get it.
Case closed.

Yes because the PS2, Wii and DS were totally dependent of those titles.

You know. The consoles that put ps3 and 360 to shame.

they had the same things sports games coming every year that pushed them foward as i mentioned in the title. DS had pokemon and zelda almost every year

DS been out for over 8 years, there are only 2 zelda games, as for pokemon there are 5 games (no spin offs dont count for pokemon). So wat are you talking about?

there's got to be more than 2 zelda games are you counting remakes? i coulda sworn theres at least 5. and theres 7 pokemon games and the spinoffs like u mentioned

Yes.

It's not that I hate Call of Duty or Madden, it's just I don't respect them as quality games. The developers who make those games are a business, not game developers. There is a difference. They don't care about the games, or the gamers. They only care 100% about the profit.

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

It just doesn't change the fact that CoD is still, although its great-looking visuals, a silly and repetitive game of mindless shooting.
I'm not a big fan of soccer, so soccer games do not interest me at all. I played lots of them since the NES, played them on GC, PS, PS3, some are fun, but they dont really change much one from another this last generation. As for Madden, never played them.

God help us if Call of Duty ever goes to tablets.

No bro

DS = Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks for Zelda games (only 2). 3DS has now 2 as well OoT 3D(this is a remake)/A Link Between Worlds

As for Pokemon there are just 5 games on DS. Cant count spin offs unless you count Mario Tennis as a mainline Mario game right!?

Anyway the only game that had alot of releases on DS was Kirby, and each one is by far different than each other (non play the same)

AC+COD+Sports is the only franchises that literally come out once per year (i might be missing some)

No dude, 2 zelda games, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, each one with different and creative ideas.

And pokémon had: Diamon/Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Black/White, Black2/White2. 5 games.

Funny considering the PSX and PS2 best sellers weren't Call of Duty titles. Best sellers weren't even shooters unless you count GTA on the PS2 as a shooter.

In the US, NFL games on PS1 and PS2 were huge though. And also, times change. FPS are to gaming what platforming was in the 80's and early 90's. If FPS just disappeared tonight? Gaming would be 1/4th what it is and alot of people would lose jobs.

Technically it already is.
You could run it on a Surface Pro tablet. :)
