Im really happy that any report of Xbox One isn't really an odd fault. Or big fault. This as Lafiel said sounds like just a faulty capacitor.

I cant remember a launch that has had so little reports online in comparison to other launches.

Well done Microsoft.

I have my Xbox One on for probably 10 hours a day? ( I have TV through it )

And it never gets hot to the touch. Kinect gets a little warm, but that's it.

I feel confiedant that my new console will last years.

Why you act so defencive everytime? Eventhough this happened in just two consoles (well reported two times) most of the issues on the xbone seems to be hardware based which is serious. Anyways I hope nothing happens to your console

Unh?!

After the RROD fiasco that cost Microsoft billions its really good news they made a real effort on the hardware this time. I guess for an Xbox fan the One is like the best console ever made in terms of hardware. lol.

This is for all those people who doubted the Xbox's power of cloud.

You literally have smoke cloud packed into the console from launch.

You really need to tone it down dude. Your posts are all written as though you have the "Microsoft PR 101" handbook sitting right next to you :'D

But is it a new worthful successor to the ROD ?

Let's hope this isn't a widespread issue. If faulty capacitors are the culprit, it may take some time to expose this vulnerability and only the extreme usage consoles are currently experiencing it.

No the same though is it. And its so low in number right now its almost non existant. Even on Amazon with fanboy wars its not that high.

Well the's a solution to the disc drive problems at least, how ever comical people may find it.

Some folks here are trying to blow X1 issues out of proportion just in "retaliation" for what happened 2 week-ends ago.

Most if not all the problems with X1 has been disc tray mechanical problem, whereas PS4 has been plagued with that, plus Blod, overheating causing fans to engage FTL etc...
