Next gen graphics don't suck. :)

If you're gonna show off 3D World, use pics that do it justice. :p

The first image is way better. I was actually kind of impressed. Then you showed those other two images and i was like ehhh. The princess peach image is much better.

Use first party Nintendo games that aren't X and you may as well be showing pictures off that are marginably better than what the Wii can handle, just in HD.

You're delusional.  I'm sorry there is no way could that never play on the wii at 20 fps let alone 60. The lighting and poly alone make this crazy. Sd to Hd is huge.

Except I never said it could play on the Wii, and I did mention the HD.  Here's what I mean about marginably better.  If the PS2 HD Collections were slightly touched up to look slightly better.  So HD and looks a little better, but hardly much of a jump.

Infamous Second Son looks like it's more of a jump between any PS3  game than any Mario game is to the  first Super Mario Galaxy.

I dunno, I'd say that the leap from Mario 64 to Mario Galaxy absolutely dwarfs the leap from Infamous 1 or 2 to Infamous Second Son.

So now you've resorted to comparing jumps between 2 generatios instead of 1 to make Nintendo graphics more impressive?

That is because N64 to WiiU they are considering that Nintendo improved as much as Sony from PS3 to PS4, understand?

it never fails to amaze me how any time someone on a gaming forum dares to tout the graphical impressiveness of any nintendo game certain people will try their hardness to try to prove them wrong because that really bothers them for some reason.

Seriously, Super Mario 3D World in motion, live in front of you on your TV, looks absolutely marvelous. The best looking platformer I've ever seen so far in my life.

People bringing up Ratchet and Clank in the mix to compare the 2 together are really talking out of their asses. They're not in the same league at all. -__-

I'm not resorting to anything, he said (though he has since corrected himself as meaning something else) ANY Mario game, without specifying time frame. The original post said in effect that the gap between Mario Bros on the NES and Mario Galaxy is not as big as the leap from PS3's best to Infamous SS.

That is just because you don't get overcharged by companies there as much as we are here =] (its starting to get better, if you disregard PS4k).

Where do you live?

Here in Aus we get overcharged compared to the US and UK, but not as badly as somewhere like Brazil.
