| Areym said: How about a console that can do both? I mean have you tried R&C: a crack in time? *Warning: Heavy criticizing of Nintendo ahead* I choose whatever console appeals to me, in my case, the playstation consoles. I have a Wii, but only for xenoblade. I've played mario a thousand times, the zelda series isn't that appealing and everything else was not spectacular. I don't know where people get the idea that the 360 and the PS3 were just graphics. There is a truly outstanding variety of games on both consoles, displaying their superior graphical prowess and innovative gameplay with the controller. I am completely sure that the casual crowd got the Wii to where it is now, you can quote me all you want, it will not change my PERSONAL perspective on the Wii's success. With the casual crowd moving on to something else, what we have left with the Wii U is an underwhelming console, struggling to find its place and show off its capabilities against the hyped Sony and MS consoles who are breaking records at this point. Nintendo has plenty of legendary and recognizable franchises in their ranks but with a console that many people don't see as a step up (aside from the already loyal Nintendo crowd), it's going to be hard for Nintendo go gain back that momentum they had on the 7th generation. The 3DS on the other hand, is a goddamn monster. |
I made a point about ps3 having inferior versions of multiplat games
