Forums - General - What are your gadgets/ electonics/ whatever? and what will you buy?

The only electronics I plan on buying soon are video game related and that's:
PS Vita
3DS (XL version this time, I gave my other 3DS to my sister)
PS4
Xbox One
Wii U
I currently own:
32" 1080p HDTV (Any bigger and I tend to lose focus on the game)
My laptop that I use mostly for school and doing what I'm doing right now (VGChartz, NFL.com etc...) I only play a few games on my laptop such as Fallout or Civilization Revolution
PS3
Xbox 360
PSP
PS2
Xbox
Turtle Beach XP400 (Expensive but awesome headset)

I have an aging PC, will upgrade the GPU and double the RAM this winter so it should be golden another couple of years. This is where I do all my gaming and waste my days.

I have a PS3 and a decent 46" TV, we watch movies on it and use it for Netflix.

Recently bought a Xperia Z1, it's an okay phone but I'm really not a fan of smartphones, touch controls or Android/iOS. The design is also a tad boring, most smartphones are just a flat slab.

which 8th gen are you getting?

Probably both a One and a PS4 in time, I don't have the interest or the economy right now though! I always wait about 18 months or so before entering a new gen.

Consoles: Wii U, PS3,PSP and soon PS4. Had 3DS (gave to nephew). Got my money back for x360 years ago after 3x PROD.

Phones: 2 x iphone (One is from work), HTC Android (free)

Computers: 2x PC (SFF media centre + gaming which is never used), Mac for work. One Chromebook and a Macbook air. One Raspberry Pi running XBMC in den.

Tablets: 2x ipad (One from work), Sony Xperia Z tablet (gift)

Cameras: Panasonic, 2 x SLR - Canon and Nikon with different branding of lens. I love photography but hate cameras pointed at me.

TV: Samsung SMART (living room), LG (den), Surround sound system from Bose.

eBooks: 2x Amazon kindle. One keyboard 3G which I use abroad and one with the backlight.

Toaster: Tefal 4 slice.

Kettle: Tefal

I have absolutely no brand loyalty. I will buy whatever suits me best based on "reliable feedback". Yeah Apple is a bit top heavy but a lot of my work is on MacOS software and my company has spent a fortune developing in-house iphone+ipad apps.

Consoles: PS3, 360, Vita and PS4 in 1 week
Smartphone: Xperia S
Laptop: Sony Vaio Pro 13
Desktop: Self made Intel system with ASUS 670 graphics card (don't worry, the blu-ray player is made by Sony!)

Future purchases:
Smartphone: XPERIA Z or maybe a newer phone if Sony release another one by Feb
Desktop: Maybe another graphics card, I'll see how well Star Citizen runs

The rest of my family have
iPhone, iPad Mini, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro
iPhone, iPad Mini, MacBook Pro, Lenovo work laptop
iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, PS Vita (and another PS3)

It is absurd how Apple have brainwashed them to waste money

how are vaio laptops???

Mostly very good, but they always tend to have 1 or 2 minor glitches. My Vaio Pro is the "lightest ultrabook in the world" or something. Basically, Sony have made it amazingly light and thin, but it does feel a bit bendy.... It also came with a glitch whereby the wi-fi didn't work properly, but apparently that is an Intel issue which could be fixed, but only if you researched it a bit.

I like them, but they certainly could be better
