Hey Kowen, a little off-topic but what delivery service is that? I really like how detailed it is, number x out of x is pretty sweet. As far as I know, all I get here with UPS is, "out for delivery" and the USPS is mostly atrocious with the tracking.



I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Plugged mine in a few hours ago. So far so good. Forza 5 is amazing and Killing Instinct is way better then the reviews say it is. No problems with the machine. Working out what should be my next game for it.

Unpacked. 

1st impressions:

Sensational build quality.  Second to none.  By far the best I have ever seen fro a console.  Smaller than expected and the power brick is way smaller than expected, Im sure the one on the unboxing by Major N was bigger.

Now downloading the patch:

Instant connection and instant start on download (obviously, this is LIVE we are talking about).  Full download took 5mins 20 seconds.

Rebooting now...

 

Bolded/Underlined: Unless I'm overlooking something, you don't need a Live or PSN account to take system firmware updates. Are you saying the system requires you to log into an Xbox Live account subscribed to Gold?

In any case, good for you guys to enjoy the xbox one launch and I'll admit ryse does look really nice despite what the reviews say and that is coming from a PC guy over here so kudos to you all and don't forget to keep it gaming.

The D-PAD is finally, finally Really good. It has a real decisive click to it, and its surface has a nice shiny surface to it. Perfect for Hadukens. The triggers are even better than the 360's and the new rumble features are much more of a difference than youd imagine.

That's all I needed to hear! Now if only it weren't so damned expensive. I was expecting $50, and crossing my fingers for $40, but $60 is too much. I can understand the DS4 being expensive, what with it's gyroscopes, touchpad, glowy lights, and Li-ion battery, but I don't see anything in the One's controller to warrant such a high price. :( I guess I'll be sticking with my Pro controller for a bit longer.

Has anyone tried connecting it to their PC, yet? Is it recognised?

Good for you in our office were at 4 hours and still updating ( but this is Live were talking about ).

 

Clearly this is an anomoly, fingers crossed its hopefully its not a faulty unit. 

Before anyone asked yes we have amazing internet connection.

Got mine at midnight, bought Dead Rising 3 with it, now I wish I would'vw bought Ryse. I'm not liking DR3 much at the moment. I really like the controller, best triggers ever! I am quite the happy gamer this holiday season! I have all three next gen systems!
