I got the voice chat working. Apparently I opened the NAT for the 360 but needed to do the same for the One. All's well now.

Mine is still in it's box, considering giving it to my nephew as a Christmas present... Downloaded the Day One Achievement though. :P

I got the One a couple of days ago now! I am in Australia and yes this thing is HEAVY! Not big, just heavier than i anticipated, when the guy handed it to me i almost dropped it due to not anticipating that weight!

OS is amazing, stunning and terrific. Kinect is probably the most advanced piece of tech on any console.....Reviewers should not be able to talk about something being broken when it is not, just need to follow what kinect asks you to do and you will NEVER have an issue.

CONTROLLER is A+. Never thought i would say something is better than the 360 pad and this is! This is what natural evolution should be about, no major changes, way smaller and way better.

GAMES
Dead Rising 3 - Absolutely love this game! Cinematic's are really a step up over the 360 and look great! 000's of zombies on screen with NO Frame drops is a sight to behold, truly never seen anything like that before, so far killed over 14k worth of zombies and this game is no where near boring (and i am nowhere near getting bored of it) The Kinect integration OMG, just to see it working is beautiful..........Not to give to much away! When people are in trouble you can say HEY and it will resonate through the kinect and send swarms of zombies after you.........Who thought of these small things.

FIFA 14 - Awesome as a football fan! Love this game and it looks so much improved, the replays and animations are out of this world.

I also have assassins creed 4 and battlefield however i've not got around to them yet.

Overall! This piece of machinery is amazing so far....I am so happy i have got the day one and Microsoft really raised the bar with this console. Can't wait to see all the features that microsoft will annouce to make this even better.

I get to hook up mine in a couple of hours. Can't wait. I'm probably going to grab a controller and game when I get off work.

So far so good.voice commands aren't perfect, but it's far better then the original kinect. Blends seamlessly into the entertainment center. smooth as butter on the ui. Games are about what i expected for a launch console. Probably should have waited till later because of the lack of content, but the same applies for my ps4 as well.Both will get little attention till next year. lack of the chat cable for my astros was quickly fixed by using the one that came in the box and unsoldering the headset wires from the puck and wiring in my astros chat cable to it. Now i can use my astros to chat just like on ps3 and 360. No need to purchase a adapter. Forza is great and DR3 is fun. Looks ok, nothing spectacular. But fun as hell and thats what really matters. It takes time to get going on the software side and patience is your friend.Controller is all preference. I love the new one controller but then again i loved the 360 controller as well, very comfortable. Its weird it's slightly bigger but feels smaller.My ps4 controller is nice a step up over the previous versions of the Dual shock. just not as comfortable to me as the one's. I seem to hit the right thumb stick every time i press the ps button.. any way I love it and and am having fun with it and that justifies my purchases. The UI does take a little while to get familiar with, but after a bit of playing it's pretty easy and simple to navigate.
