I wonder what exactly would make a crunching noise in the disk drive. Sounds kinda like when you slightly move the 360 when it has a disk in it. I wonder if they skimped on those rubber stabilizers again.

I come into this thread looking for info on and displays of the XBOne issues and I see links posted about the PS4 .... I feel lied to.
Anyway, that's unfortunate, but not unexpected. The price you sometimes pay when you are an early adopter. I'd like to know what % of these consoles has issues when the dust settles.
Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

You are thinking about the 360. There is no reason for the console to not be moved while it is spinning. PS3 have been able to do that without sending the drive out of alignment since day one. The 360 is the only console I have ever heard of with that issue. Should not carry over to the One as it uses similar technology to the PS3/PS4. |
The XB1 has a sticker on the front of the unit right below the disc slot:
"Do not move console without first removing any disc inside."
Xbox One 40% failure rate confirmed. Social media has saved us again.
(Looks at the sun without blinking) IT BURNS!!!

Than why'd you bother replying to them in the first place champ ;)
I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

I'll write a review then PM you. J/k.

I want to see a Xbox One shoot a disc out of the drive. That'd be more awesome than eating the disc and not reading it.
it actually eats discs?
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...
When you pay $500 plus tax for a system, you shouldn't have to THINK about glitches & bugs.
The excuse that "these are the things you have to put up with on launch consoles" is UNACCEPTABLE.
If the manufacturer can't make a quality product at $500 then what is that manufacturer in the business for?
