Forums - Gaming - An example of Class and Classless from your console manufacters

Ah, a thread where someone attempts to humanize one large corporation while demonizing another. Amazing. Especially when it's child's-play to locate quotes that do the reverse.

Just now, seriously, I literally face-palmed.

Should we go for classy, then? How about this:
"The PS4 is not more powerful. There is a confusion about the difference in the number of pixels, but the definition of certain defined by the publisher, not the console. Especially thanks to the power of cloud - we have installed 300,000 servers - the capabilities of the console are multiplied by four. So if you connect the console to the Internet, then the Xbox One is the most powerful." -- http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=172797&page=1

And was Darth Tigris, the author of this thread, also upset about that quote? Let's see, shall we?
"Darth Tigris: So? Do you guys really care about this? What this man says?"

Hmmmm. He wasn't upset THEN, but he is NOW? Mighty interesting, that.

Anyway, why is this even an issue? Seriously, the fuck? Do you people, the ones up in arms about this, get mad when Ford or Nissan is mean to Dodge or Toyota? Do your lips quiver in rage when one brand of soda takes a jab at another? If so, you might want to stop watching commercials now and go take a pill. Preferably one with chilling effects.

Wait, your trying to say MS is a classy org?

Compared to Sony over the past 4-5 months they have been. Sony reps have been acting like fucking children. It's embarrasing.

I recall when sailor ask the xbox dep chief if he could play an xb1 on a ship with no internet he said, "we a little device for those without an internet connection ... Its called the X360...."
We are speaking about MS here Idont know how you could them and class in the same sentance. How many times have they be sued and lost for dirty or unfair business practices ?

and for some reason that guy no longer works at MS...

Tonight's show was brought to you by "Select Memory Syndrome."

QFT. They both take shots at one another. Sony will most likely return the favor as well.

Last week:

Congratulations to on their North American launch cc

This week:

I took this as them saying you should upgrade from PS3 to PS4. Not sure why people are assuming it was a jab at the Xbox One.

Even generalized product promotion beings out the insecurity out of some.

If that's the case then why take it down after 20 minutes?

They saw that it negatively effected the overly sensitive and had pity on them?  Classy.

So I guess the people that are defending Sony think it is OK at the start of a sporting event when the captains meet in the middle of the field/rink/court, etc. That one teams says good luck and sticks out there hand for a handshake. Then it is OK for the other team to say F Off and walk away.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

You've clearly failed to identify my mocking, irreverent tone.  I'm disappointed.  I thought the joke at the end capped it off nicely.

I think you've somehow confused "business" with "game".  How, I don't know, but there it is.

This thread makes me happy

If the first captain is sincere then meh. However, it isnt out of sincerity but out of obligation. Id rather the captain say fuck off then be a liar
