Wow didn't know the PS4 was selling so well, bring on the 29th! I work at Eb games factory in the holidays every year cause its busy. Tomorrow is my first day back in a year and the PS4's are arriving in the factory tomorrow aswell!. The shipment is 3 times the size of Xbox ones. I'll try get some sneaky pics of them all stacked

Sony makes about a million PS4s a month according to pachter. They cannot keep selling at this rate. A million sold today means a thousand sold tomorrow. Really the max the PS4 could reach is around 5 million. The Wii U is very very likely to get to 6 million.

Well the Hype obviously sold consoles as well... But I think there are a lot of people waiting just to see how the X1 turns out... It will sell a lot but 2 million sounds a bit of a stretch but could happen none the less... Although Europe is indeed a big market for Sony |
Well we are talking about x3 7 days here. Not x3 Day 1 sales. So its highly possible.

I'm guessing it's going to fall between 2.5M-3M. EU should be good for another 1M+. Others should be good for a few 100K, as is Japan. It just depends on how many 100K's Others and Japan pull off. I think there's going to be ~1M gap between it and the Xbox One. I also wonder where the PS4 is at in NA, now. I'm guessing it's closing in on 1.5M.

Day one sales mean little in the grand scheme of things. We have no idea what the ACTUAL PS4 demand is, beyond the extreme hardcore Sony fans who will run out and buy a Sony console on day one regardless. There will always be at least a few million of those.. Hell, even the Wii U, Gamecube, and Dreamcast sold a huge amount during launch. What's key is what happens 3, 4, and 5 months afterwards. Come January, PS4 sales may drop to 50k a week for all we know.

Only 15% lol but Eb mark all there stuff up 15% lol so it just ends up being normal price.
Somewhere between 2 and 3 million for the PS4s first global sales is a great start. It has been a very long 7 year wait between PS3 to PS4 generations. The gap between PS1 to PS2 and PS2 to PS3 were 6 year waits.
