Anyway launches are all about supply, not demand. 2 million global is locked in, but I wouldn't read too much into it.

Day one sales mean little in the grand scheme of things. We have no idea what the ACTUAL PS4 demand is, beyond the extreme hardcore Sony fans who will run out and buy a Sony console on day one regardless. There will always be at least a few million of those.. Hell, even the Wii U, Gamecube, and Dreamcast sold a huge amount during launch. What's key is what happens 3, 4, and 5 months afterwards. Come January, PS4 sales may drop to 50k a week for all we know.
