Gran Turismo 7 will likely be 60fps, so probably less detailed, but smoother running.

I'll take framerate over detail in a racing game, personally.

Yeah with development costs (and times) the way they are these days, making hundreds and hundreds of cars in high end PS4 graphics isn't really a viable option unless they want it to cost a billion dollars and come out in 2020.
