Forums - Gaming - IGN being sponsored by Microsoft

The Zelda add is much more obvious and it also features the score it got from IGN 9.4/10.  If you are really annoyed by adds I would be more annyoned by that one especially since it also features the score the game got from the site.

Considering the fact that they gave Crimson Dragon a 59 and LocoCycle a 52, I'd hardly call them Xbox biased if that's what you're getting at.

You have to wonder how the score would've been if IGN wasn't being sponsored by MS. I mean the deal could be to raise the score by 5 or 10 points. We don't know.

You are kidding, right?

It means nothing 2 me.

Why would I? I said we don't know.

1. how are those ratings compared to review websites at large?

2. oosting a game to a still mediocre score won't sell the games to anyone who cares about reviews. If they do paid reviews, it would be obvious.

Sony bribing Euorgamer confirmed?

This article was based on a trip to the Guerrilla Games studio in Amsterdam. Sony paid for travel and accommodation.

Not really. Why would Eurogamer pay for a trip to write some articles about Guerrilla Game's studio? You would expect either Sony or Guerrilla to pay for that.
