Isn't that kind of a good thing? Varied reviews that is. Video game criticism isn't objective. Beyond things like production value pretty much everything can be debated.

Don't get me wrong - most of what passes for criticism and journalism in this industry is shoddy as hell, but it's worth trying to find reviewers that share your taste.

At worst, mixed reviews at least mean publishers aren't buying all the scores!

The scores are looking really good! So far Dead Rising has a 79! Looks like it will be a decent launch for the Xbox One.

I think the reasons for the mixed reviews on Ps4 and Xbone is due to higher expectations. A bit unrealistic for a launch.

Gamespot is delaying Killer Insinct Review until next week so they can play online.

This is what was said

So far I've had a lot of fun exploring the nuances of Killer Instinct's combat system. Its simplified combos free me up to worry more about playing mind games with my opponent and less about running a manual dexterity challenge. Of course, I've still got a lot to learn as I prepare to take the fight online. Be on the lookout for the full review of Killer Instinct on the Xbox One later this week.
