I keep hearing a lot about Vanquish, may need to check that up!

GOW: Ascension - The best combat I've experienced in any GOW game despite its minor flaws.
Gravity Rush - A fun and rewarding experience. Very memorable as well.
Beyond: 2 Souls - A great game that deviates from the norm.
Darksiders
Darksiders 2 - Both this and its predecessor were fine action games and were sorely under appreciated.
Playstation All Stars: Battle Royale - I had a blast with this. Far from perfect, but it was still fun.
Sly: TiT - Old school platforming at its finest this year.
Puppeteer - A decent platformer that kept me glued to the TV.
Rayman Origins - Same as above. I wish these games were appreciated more.

Still have to play The Last Story, currently hanging out on my shelf. Rise of the Ninja was great, but I preferred Broken Bond.

alpha protocol is a really great stealth /spy game(imo 88%) with a good story,but as soon as you play it as shooter it is a 40% game with horrible AI)

twisted metal and starhawk come to mind. bastion too. ohh and PS all stars, that game is so fun (even though its name sucks)

Holy crap! I forgot about Sly 4. Really loved that game and I hope they bring the Sly Collection to Vita. I'm hoping Sanzuru is working on Sly 5 for PS4/Vita!! I personally wasn't too big on Blue Dragon, but it was overlooked.

But I agree. It's more of a hard game to rate because it does some things great. And some things absolutely terrible. Depending on how much you can ignore the absolutely terrible things is how much you'd like the game.
