This is bullshit and you know it. GAF was going crazy with all the hardware and controller issues on PS4. Did you see the thread about controllers and the analog sticks...? That thread went quite crazy and that was BEFORE the system even launched

So many gaffers were "cancelling their pre-orders" or "glad they didnt pre-order" etc. I never get why people say GAF are some sort of Sony fanboi sight. GAF overeacts to everything. Especially if it comes across as anti gamer or something along those lines.

It just so happens that Sony has being doing quite a lot right recently with PS3 support and the gamer centric launch of PS4. If this wasnt the case then Sony would be getting just as much shit as the rest.

You make as if all the negative news around the Xbox One came from no where. If MS made different decisions then the news surrounding it would be different as well.

I think the biggest sign of bias is when a poster ACTUALLY believes that one set of fans is worse than others.

COD in particular was a poor choice because it's the biggest FPS on the market, it attracts all kinds of people on both platforms.

I'm sure there are games on both platforms that have a more adult community than the other but without any real evidence to back it up on it's personal experience vs personal experience.

Or what about Gamespot? I haven't really browsed the forums there in years but I was somewhat active in 2006/2007, it was downright insane. 75% of all posts were either bullshit, ignorant or plain rude or all of the above. Gamespot was the primary reason I started coming here, I used to just lurk but then decided I wanted to join a forum where some of the posts made sense and not all users were assholes.

Oh yeah Gamespot...I used it as my main gaming news source when I was an internet noob, and yeah those forums were insane. I later changed to IGN which was a little bit better, but still a shit hole. I remember wanting to know the sales of Golden Sun: Dark Dawn (can't remember why honestly) and that's when I finally found VGC and thank god for that.

According to the VGC failure rate thread it doesn't seem to be affecting this community at all. It could be a mixture of that as well as people just being reasonable and realizing this happens with all launches. XBone won't be immune either. Nothing ever is.

It is no doubt a very good start to the new generation.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
