How so? I did mention that IF the reviews are true... They could be fake but if the reviews are true, it was 40% failure rate based on the amazon's reviews... I mentioned all that or are you too blind to see?

Even with the reviews being true you are still doing it very wrong

I checked through my chat log and actually he had an issue with the update bricking it, but he was able to get into safe mode and do the update and then he was good to go.  My apologies.

maybe we should start a campaign for everyone who ordered from amazon and didnt get a bad console, to post a review saying theirs is fine lol

chances are alot of people who ordered are happy and playing it and are completely unaware that any such problems exist.

What you can say is that 40% of those who decided to write an Amazon review had a failure, but you can't just assume that those with bricked consoles are just as likely to write up a review on amazon as ones that don't.  Even if we assume every single 1 star review is totally accurate that would not mean a 40% failure rate by any stretch of the imagination.

It was clearly referring to the amazon's review thing... 40% of the reviewers said it was bricked this morning but the reviews went up for both good and bad so it is now 34% because the amount of people that has a ps4 working finally decided to post their reviews...
