3D World Looks good for local multiplayer, however, I use my Wii U for single player and online multiplayer 90% of the time. Local Multiplayer only when other people are around, and not hogging my PC. I would really appreciate a Mario Galaxy 3.

I MAY get a Wii-U down the road when my finace graduates college and we have alot of money, but if it's like a year or two away from a new console? I'd rather just get Nintendo's next offering instead and not have to scramble to catch up on 3 or 4 years worth of games. |
Its one year old and has Monster Hunter, Ninja Gaiden, Darksiders, Tekken, Injustice, Need for Speed, Mass Effect, 2 Batmans, 2 Assassins Creeds, 2 Call of Duties, Rayman, Sonic, Resident Evil, ZombiU, 2 Scribblenauts, multiple Lego games, 2 Skylanders, 2 Just Dances, Splinter Cell, Disney Infinity, and probably some im missing. I know its not amazing support but its not horrible either.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
i'm hoping for MG3 and HD-remakes of the other two, just like Metroid Prime
When you think my english is bad...sorry for my bad english, i'm from Germany. And yeees, sorry, that we've almost destroyed the whole world, blahblahblah

They need a new open Mario styled game. They said they'd make one if we showed interest, so let's show interest. Galaxy has ran its course....unless the next one is more open than linear...

Well said, thats a high quality list of software, i have been reasonably pleased with 3rd party offerings on Wii U. Far better than getting things like Carnival games etc.
I think it's pretty much already in development, Super Mario Galaxy 3.
This is kinda like Miyamoto's comments about Pikmin being a franchise that would like nice in HD before Pikmin 3 was announced for Wii U.
Nintendo telegraphed it pretty much, lol, not that I mind. Probably has started now that 3D World wrapped. They should have a pretty smooth dev process as it seems every 3D Mario has left over ideas and they already have the 3D World under the belt as an engine.
See ya in holiday 2015.
I don't want Galaxy Nintendo. I want Mario ala 64 and sunshine. more open, unique objectives, etc. Surprise me please.
Nice! I always felt Nintendo struggled to find the proper 3D Mario formula, but they really nailed it with Mario Galaxy. Mario 3D World is an interesting development, but it is sort of a step backwards from Mario Galaxy 2... At least as a single player game, although overall looks WAY better than any non-Galaxy 3D Mario games. I can't wait to see how they expand upon the Super Mario Galaxy formula on the Wii U.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
It doesn't have to be Galaxy, as much as I love that series. Just give me that familiar Mario goodness mixed with some great environments and a lot of creativity and I'm in.
