Man. Game looks like total garbage on consoles graphically doesn't it. Total cash-in this game. It's not exactly a contender for 'Graphics King' on PC either, but at least it's presentable. Those console ports are a joke, and the WiiU version is the worst. How on Earth can it be so utterly inconsistent quality-wise? In some scenes, the WiiU version is the clear winner over the other consoles, but then in others, textures look like they're 6th gen!

well Treyarch used IW code to work with. My guess is its just a cheap port to get the game on the console. You can't really blame activision after the poor sales.

There is no excuse for the really poor sales of ghosts. sure it has some issues, but the game also has issues on XBOX one and PS4 and people will preordering it in hundreds of thousands lol.

Well, now Activision can't really expect sales for Ghosts to sufficiently outperform those of Black Ops 2 on WiiU either. I mean, who's going to buy this crap? I'm sorry, but I find it inexcusable. It's Activision's fault, they've been digging their own grave. If you want your game to sell, make sure you put out something that's worthwile!

Personally I shouldn't really be complaining though, because I wasn't going to get this game on whatever system anyway .

But all versions suffer different issues if you read about it. The fact is the days of perfect games on release are almost all over.

The Wii U version has some minor issues which they said they will address in a patch. Same deal for other platforms that have other issues.

There is nothing game breaking in this game so people shoul dnot be pissed off considering they still get their pointer controls and local multiplayer on two screens.

If this is enough to cause people to stop buying COD on NIntendo then all people are doing is hurting themselves in the long run for other titles.

Using pokemon as an example it has a game breaking bug in it, yet people still buy it cause it is pokemon. No one used the excuse of "oh Nintendo didn't try".

I think they're probably stretching themselves too thin with all the different versions of the game.

A Wii U version is probably out for next year's COD and they will focus more on the PS4/XB1/PC builds.

well technically they didn't stretch themselves. IW worked on the other versions and Treyarch worked on the Wii U from IWs code, so clealry less time to polish the game as they had to wait for the code first.

Mind you in general IW are becoming a slack developer, they are not even pushing anything new with COD these days. Treyarch will eventually become the go to developer by games for COD over IW.

I was going to get the Wii U version but, since they apparently didn't try, I'm going to skip the game entirely. First time since Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare on the 360 that I do this. Oh well.

I have the game for the "U", and personally, I think the multiplayer runs fine.  I ran into the first major lag hiccup last night, and then it migrated hosts and was fine every game after that.  I've never experienced any major issues with framerate that were noticeable or that disturbed my experience.  I'd also say that it is graphically superior to blops2 and that yes, Treyarch was working with and tweaking IW's code in the making of this game instead of their own and I think they did a fine job despite.

I like that they went back to the "you earn points and then spend them how you like" with Ghosts vs blops2 where you pretty much had to level to unlock stuff which totally killed my incentive to prestige...well, that and knowing that why do all that work prestiging when a new game comes out every year and all that progress is for naught.  I also think the maps are really cool in Ghosts, and I dig that there are some pretty large areas this time.  For me, personally, coming off of Blops (Wii, which I loved) and going to blops2, I was dissapointed in the maps but Ghosts maps bring it back to form.

Is it perfection???  NO.  But, In a nutshell, do I feel that it was 50 bucks well spent on the "U"?  Yes, it's a heck of a lot of bang for my buck.

ohh, btw.  A_Trey_U said on miiverse that the first update (apparently they don't count the small day one patch) is being tested at Ninty and will hopefully go live yet this week.

The first Wii U performance patch is live: http://community.callofduty.com/thread/200790076#.UoRIsBrI0XY

Should improve both multiplayer and campaign framerate.

yeah and it does his work, believe me this game is better on wiiu, and that's beacuse of the gameplay and the unique control schemes, i have it on  PC and my WiiU on pc (120fps, 2160p), on wiiu 720p 60fps... and i choose the wiiu version  eyes blind, it is just more fun.

34 years playing games.

Just played through six campaign missions after installing the latest Wii U patch, including the one with the the most framerate drops, (the tank mission) and performance has been noticeably improved.
Considerably smoother and more consistent now.
