So in the end, Nintendo's 32GB size isn't all that bad considering MSony will fill your 500GBs with EVERY damn game you buy regardless if its digital or disc based.

F that. At least Wii U disc based games are actually disc based games.

Basically, in a year the DRM policies everyone cried foul over will be implemented on MSony consoles and ya'll will be f'ed.

The 32GB is a joke. If you get Lego City Undercover digitally, for example, you can barely install any other Wii U game... -__-

But that's you being your typical self... You gotta talk shit about something to feel validated in your choice... ¬_¬

And why did you choose digital? To make a point you cant lol. PS4s is mandatory and WiiUs isnt, so hes right. Deal with it.

Have they explained why they can't stream straight off disc? I guess pretty much all PC games have mandatory installs so PS4bone are just becoming more and more like PCs connected to TV, but less powerful.

As long as games don't take more than a minute before you can start playing I suppose it's not too big of a pain.

Oh right. PS4 is mandatory, but the Wii U isn't. What exactly does this have to do with the topic here? This isn't a comparison thread. Why come trolling? What is the point of his post? Is he trying to convince people of something? Or himself? Tell me, what's the point and goal of his post?

But I can buy it on disc and it eats only a few MBs for data saves.

... and I will likely buy another console, so not validation, just hate the way consoles are headed. They're basically PCs... hell, likley just upgrade my PC instead.

The story doesn't say that every single games will require that much space on the HDD. You'll be able to install what, at least 15-20 games on a 500GB HDD?

Not that big a deal.  Especially since Cerny explained that the games will install themselves gradually in most cases. You'll get to start playing it almost from the get go.

Take it with whatever lube you want, you're still getting f'ed. IMO

Disc game should be disc game. All this leads to is DRM and complete loss of ownership as stated in each companies EULA. Nintendo will follow eventualy unfortunately.

All the screams and yelling after E3 are in vain in the long run. Digital future is only choice you'll have... boo.

EDIT: worst part is they won't follow the Google/iOS method where you can log into any device and use your digital library forever... it will be restricted to one generation and if you're lucky a couple consoles.

why is mandatory to instal a game on the HDD? if the 500GB is for dowload games it will be better, but you buy a disc and you stil have to install it on the console? that doesn't make any sense to me. Oh because gamers can't wait 30 seconds while a game is loading? that is an espensive way to treat that. Besides, you console is not costing $400, it is $400 (console) + $50 (online subscription) + $70 (hard drive) + $60 (1 game). everyhing gamers have been proud to say about the PS4 is just crumbling down, one by one. PS4 is nothing more than a lie.

There's a reason other than what you assume (DRM). Games are bigger than ever now, when it comes to data. And the data just can't be streamed fast enough from the BD to the system. So, just like with PCs, consoles need to compensate for this shortcoming by installing key content on the HDD. You're right when you say Nintendo won't have a choice to do that too eventually. Most likely for their next console. They'll be faced with the same problem if they don't go digital only.

That's the lie they feed you to get to a DRM based system so they can prevent used sales.

I'd rather wait a few extra seconds on a damn cutscene than be forced to have a digital copy and no resell option.

Nintendo already has large games on BR discs, yet I have yet to see an issue in gameplay. Fact is, its an non-issue being made into one.

i highly doubt nex gen grafix could just be played of a disk, they will all install
