I managed to figure that one out myself. It's just that as soon as i confronted him one-on-one, he'd have me dead in seconds.

Jedi fights in the first KOTOR were like the madness of the Vrook battle in KOTOR II, but *all the time*. KOTOR I left me feeling conflicted, because i could see the greatness, it was just veiled behind the glitches and the endless ass-whoopings that were handed to me. KOTOR II was just so much more *playable*.

I see what you mean, and there's certainly truth in it. Sometimes you need some kind of perfect combination of weapons/characters/feats for a fight to not be frustrating. I once had this fighting the Guard Droid inside the Dantooine Star Map temple .

But, KotOR II isn't completely clear of this though. Once all of my party was killed in one stroke each by Ghost Revan in Korriban's Secret Tomb. And yes, there's Vrook.

None of those things overshadow the pleasure I get from both games though, especially KotOR 1 .

I never even made it to the secret tomb on my current, Dark Side run (which i think i'll finish just in time for 3D World). I didn't make it far enough down the evil scale because i refuse to go along with the "evil for the sake of evil" choices. I chose evil when it was most expedient, aside from the obvious storyline choices (like the mercenaries over the settlers on Dantooine, Vaklu over Talia, and Czerka over the Ithorians), but the only character I would be mean to was Hanharr. I suffered huge losses being nice to Visas because i can't bring myself to be mean to the poor girl :/

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Because I liked them both so much, I've played through those games multiple times. Three times each at least, the first probably more but I'm not sure. The first was just about me being me to see what the result would be (heh, nice sentence). Taking choices which I thought would be the best course of action regardless of them being light or dark. On that playthrough I couldn't get into the tomb either. The other two playthroughs were either super-light or super-dark. That also makes for pretty funny scenes.

Bold: Yeah, but that's because being mean to Hanharr is funny . And I've also been nice to Visas, but I just wanted those cutscenes to unlock. I also couldn't be mean to T3-M4, the small droid. It only does everything for you, on my dark-side playthroughs I just didn't talk to it so I wouldn't get light-side points!

'SOCCER'

for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) released in 2000.

Does it actually look silly like that? Yes, it does. But the eyes can be decieving in this game. Because it's the best multiplayer experience the NES has to offer. The game only has the simple name 'SOCCER' and it is what it is. It's soccer, or football here in Europe. Other football-games are always too serious for my taste, though I never tried Mario Strikers, but this one isn't! The game features the simplest controls imaginable, unrealistic yet suitable gameplay mechanics and half-time cheerleaders.

Back in the day I used to play this game a lot. In fact, I think it'll rank in the top 10 games I played most in my lifetime, if I could keep score on each game I played. We used to play 'Duck Hunt', my #47 entry, or 'SOCCER'. Not much else. Not very surprising, because when the NES was moved from my aunt's house to my grandma's after she got an SNES instead, this was pretty much the only form of entertainment we could get at grandma's.

Of course, objectively the game doesn't really deserve to be on a top 50 'Best Games of All-time' list, because for all intends and purposes it's not a good game. Even for it's time, graphics were quite mediocre, content was extremely slim and gameplay was low-levelled simplicity. However, the game proves that there's really only one thing that matters. The fun factor. And for that it actually remains the only game I've ever bought in the Wii's Virtual Console that wasn't part of an offer like 3DS's Ambassador Program. And because of the nostalgia and good feeling it will forever give me, this game belongs on my list.

#42 Hint

It raised some eyebrows; that theme-park game that wasn't a construction- and managment sim.

Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal.

Disappointed to see it so low on your list

43. Neverwinter Nights 2 (+ Mask of the Betrayer & Storm of Zehir) (PC)

Obsidian seem to have made a good business out of making other developers sequels and this was one of the better examples. This game modernised the Bioware game Neverwinter Nights whilst still retaining much of what made Neverwinter great. A solid RPG with some interesting characters if stereotypical at times. The return of multiple characters in your party rather than just having a single henchman was most welcome whilst allowing you to try out a range of play styles (and Qara had some incredibly destructive spells!). The storytelling was expertly done showcasing some of Obsidian's best work. Mask of the Betrayer added to the story (very depressingly mind) whilst Storm of Zehir was a seperate old school adventure seperate from the rest of the game.
