I'm still a square enix fan and I really enjoyed FFXII, FFXIII and FFXIII-2 and I'll be buying FFXIII lightning returns. But saying that they have lost fans and and the Final Fantasy franchise I slowly selling less n less, in my opinion it's a no brainer to do a full next gen remake of FinalFantasy 7, it would sell millions as it would be bough by most of us fans who bought the original 17 years ago, plus new fans who are curious as to what the fuss is over. This would also gain some fans back for square enix and repect for listening to the fans.
The one thing square enix has todo is make sure it's done properly and not rushed! They could really make ff7 remake an all time classic!

why aren't you excited for final fantays XV? give us some valid reasons. trust me its more of a final fantasy than you might think. yeah the gameplay isnt turned based its action-rpg which is not a bad thing. the gameplay looks stunning and a lot of fun. I mean you havent even played it yet. its different but it has brought back all the great things from the ps1 era. its a massive open-world. Airships make a return (thank fuck) chocobos and cars. these things were missing since what final fantasy 9? the story is what makes Final fantasy and FFXV's story looks fucking immersive. it has a dark relation to hamlet which revolves around love and vengence. its a plot fit for a final fantasy. I honestly believe that Final fantasy XV will revive the franchise. If it sells well than yeah they will make a final fantasy 7 remake. Give FFXV a chance it might take you back to the time you played final fantasy 7 and i heard that final fantasy XVI will be turned based.

Oh and for the record! Final fantasy xiv A Realm Reborn is an awesome game!! One of my best games this year,

Last year Square Enix did say they wanted to do a remake of FFVII. However if they do a remake of FFVII,they said it will be the end of the FF franchise. Like we give a crap Sqaure Enix ? They have been butchering the franchise after FFX and i have no intention of playing FFXII,FFXIII and that generic MMORPG which is FFXI and FFXIV that we see in a billion times. They also listed one condition in order for them to remake FFVII,one of their FF games need to surpasses FFVII ( in terms of quality and sales ) 

Will FFXV be the next FF game to surpasses FFVII or it will just ended up being a garbage FF game like FF XIII ? What do you guys thinks ?


Just one question, what are the three last J-RPGs from Square that you bought ?

Final Fantasy X,Kingdom Hearts 2 & Star Ocean: The Last Hope International ( not sure if that game made by square or not )

I'm looking forwards to Kingdom Hearts 3 since i am huge fan of it and sqaure enix didn't screw that franchise so far.

They have no interest in making games people want. Not from what I have seen, with few exceptions like tomb raider.

No I think not...and PERSONALLY I would prefer that remade Final Fantasy 8 or Legend of Dragoon....both of those games were better than Final Fantasy 7 IMO.
