Sure about that? That seems to be shipped numbers since media create has 3DS sales at 3.796.114 as of last week.


He's wrong as thats a mistake article of nintendo wants 5mil this year in japan alone, also your numbers are wrong as well cuz if you subtract the numbers posted in your first post that means 3DS sold 5.13mil ths year which means if you subtract the media create numbers it'll have sold 1.4mil WW which isn't true!

3ds sales are almost 9mil last week!

Your "opinion" is based on nothing. It's not an informed opinion, it's just ramblings till you can show how you think the Wii U will hit 80 mill when it's already technically outdated, unable to play 8th gen games and hasn't got the momentum the Wii had.

Your argument is just wrong tho. 

For example the horsepower argument does matter here. Comparing it to other generations is a waste of time because the gap has never been larger. From the outset we have an "8th" gen console that can't actually play 8th gen games. The only way the Wii survived this was thanks to its controller, but on the flipside it looks like no one cares for the WIiU's controller. 

Look at the big multiplats that are coming out - BF4, Destiny, Rainbow 6: Patriots, The Division etc. Not coming to Wii U. And we can bet that Watchdogs and Assassin's Creed 4 will look pants compared to the PS4 and Xbones version. 

But hey, Nintendo has first party right? Well a) that's never gotten their console far on its own (remember, Wii was helped because of the controller) and b) they are really, really, really stagnating with their ideas so will be gradually losing player retention instead of increasing their userbase. 

Nintendo as of this moment in time are really, really really boned unless they start from scratch and readdress what gamers circa 2014 want, not what worked back in the late 80's/mid 90's.

If you really think the Wii succeeded solely because of its controller, then you have absolutely NO businesss telling others that their arguements are wrong.

Dude, I know you can do better than this. The guy said that Nintendo said that 5M were sold, and he insisted that that's not shipped, in Japan. We know Nintendo uses shipped numbers which is why I got media create to prove him wrong.

I kno 5mil isnt sold, actually i dont think they have over 1mil+ on store shelves, i think thats the article that got the nintendo report mixed up. 5mil was stated by nintendo that it wants to sell that  many of the year 2013!
