Forums - Gaming - Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition doesn't support Remote Play

If we're already seeing developers getting away with not supporting remote play with a game that could clearly support it, not requiring a camera and such, what can we hope for the future?  I think this is bullshit and Sony needs to enforce their statement of every game requiring remote play unless the functions can't possibly be replicated on t he Vita.

Design decision. Deal with it.

I don't understand... Blizzard said they think the Vita screen is too smaller for Diablo III... I want to play first to see if it is small or not.

Nonsense. ALL PS4 games will support this feature. Sony said so!

They gave a valid reason for it imo. Of course they could have left it and let consumers decide whether it's too much of a clusterfuck on the screen or not, but I guess they didn't want negative backclash because of how bad it plays on the Vita, and I'm sure a lot of consumers would rather say that Blizzard is to blame, they should work it out, etc. etc. talk all kind of shit to them, instead of just saying, ohh yeah this doesn't work out, nevermind.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

This is a launch game that doesn't support this feature.

Is it crazy for us to make a deal out of it, even if there's a good reason?

It is not launch game. And I don't know what you are doing here honestly, I don't think you're interested in the console or game, aren't you?

They backpeddled; sort of.

Not a moment too soon, too! This was one of the titles I was genuinely looking forward to remote playing. Dungeon crawlers make good handheld experiences.

Well the repercursion of this news was not good

I think give us the options is better than remove the feature.

That wasn't a valid reason.  The Vita screen ratio is the same size as a 16:9.  The PS4 running remoteplay would just downgrade the quality for viewing on the Vita.  you'd get an exact image on the Vita that you do on the PS4 with an HDTV.

The only difference on the PS4 than using a regular controller that we were given was the touch pad would swipe up and swipe down to change skills on the fly.  Did you forget that the Vita includes both a touch screen and back touch panel, one of which could replicate this effect.  Their so called valid reasons is nothing more than bullshit coming out of their mouths.

Hopefully the feature is included.  I call it laziness on the developers part if it isn't.
