The only game that really comes to mind when I think of detrimental AI is Ni No Kuni. Your two other characters were useless when it came to MP. They always blew their load on trash mobs, or they did nothing. I also didn't like that you couldn't change up tactics on the fly in battle. With an epic RPG like that, the combat system is one of the biggest parts and I did not like the AI for the game.

The Last of Us AI was...... let's just say not very good.

I have been hearing the opposite........I never played it so I don't know.....................

It's mixed.

The enemy human combat AI is superb.

The zombie AI is comical.

Yeah, the Clickers were a real letdown, the normal zombies are harder imo. If you move silently, you can take out the clickers with a brick up close and the segment with the knife is stupid easy, one-shotting right and left.

The human AI is fairly good though, despite the somewhat silly scenes that play out when your companions "hide" in plain sight, I've even seen them shove my companions physically away from behind poor cover while searching for us!

The friendly AI in The Last of Us

I regret making this my username, I made this name when I was 13 years old

The survivor's in the first dead rising

Part of the problem in making AI is not to make it too good! Then, they can just kill the player with the perfect effectiveness only a computer could have.

Though it worked to my advantage I would say Avatar the Game. If I hid long enough they would forget I was hiding in the bushes ready to kill them.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

A tie between these two.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Alert the enemies. Let them follow you into a room with a giant man-sized vent (which was in every room). Shoot their legs until dead. It was like slaughtering lemmings.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations - Perch myself on a ledge and throw bombs at everything. The enemies would either stand there not knowing what to do, see me and go from alerted to cautionary for some reason, or come up the ledge halfway and just sit there.

Certainly not the worst but The Last of Us AI is the most deceiving of all time.

At certain ''ramdom event'' during the campaign, the human enemy AI would do something mindblowing, from flanking and creeping up on you placing Jeol in a headlock etc, but its all a scripted moment, then the next time you play the section, the AI would be dumb because its not scripted.

If ND made those scripted scenes representative of the actual in game AI, it would be amazing, but imo the game really suffered because of this.

As far as worst, the spawning room ai design of COD games is just abysmal. Not sure why nobody has mentioned this.
